This typical Italian country house built in local stone is situated in the sleepy hamlet of Carpugnino, 5km from Stresa, an excellent base in the hills surrounding Lake Maggiore from which to sightsee or to relax away from the crowds.
A semi-detached house with two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a lounge-diner. There is a balcony from the lounge over-looking the garden. The house is decorated in country style and has many beautiful features such as a stone fireplace and a roof with exposed beams.
The house comfortably sleeps four people. Please enquire if you wish to include extra guests.
Outside there is a covered car parking space and a garden with outdoor furniture to enjoy the morning sun or an evening meal.

Just 5 km from Stresa and the elegance of the famous tourist resort on Lake Maggiore that saw guests such as Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill you are in an ideal position to explore the other villages of the lake.
2km from a beautiful18 hole golf course overlooking Lake Maggiore makes it an ideal golfing holiday. There is another 9 hole course 5km away and several others in the region.
Less than 1km from the motorway exit you are also in an perfect location from which to explore the surrounding area (The Alps, Switzerland, Lake Orta, Lake Como, Milan or Turin).
How to get there
Lake Maggiore is served by a choice of airports.
Milan Malpensa - Easy Jet and BA. 40 minutes to reach Carpugnino. Milan Linate - , served by Easy Jet and can be reached in 1 hour 10minutes. Milan Bergamo - Ryan Air - 1 hour15 minutes Turin - Ryan Air and BA 1 hour 30 minutes. Genova - Ryan Air - 2 hours drive.
Car hire is available at all of these airports. Although a car is strongly recommended there is a bus from Malpensa airport to Lake Maggiore (Stresa, Baveno and Arona). You can also make your way by train from Linate and by bus and train from Bergamo.

There are 2 sunloungers, dining seating for 4 and some wooden furniture. There is a large covered car parking space within the locked grounds so that your car and belongings are secure. A small balcony with stylish furniture is situated off the living area. A perfect place for you to enjoy a morning sup of Italian coffee.
