Villa | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Villa Falcone is located in the village of Magognino, 4 km from Stresa, in a beautiful position with views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding hills. The scenery around Stresa is truly breathtaking: the lakeside promenade is lined with palm trees, gardens blooming with flowers and elegant hotel façades. As you turn towards the lake, the spectacular Barromee Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori) appear to rise magically from the waters. The villa is situated on sloping terraces facing the lake that offer splendid views from every angle, even at night. The well-tended garden is filled with flowers and trees and has numerous places for guests to sit and relax.
The large sunken swimming pool (5 x 14m) creates the spectacular effect of appearing to flow directly into the lake. Villa Falcone is furnished in a modern style. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen on the lower floor, a washing machine, Wi-fi broadband Internet connection, satellite TV, a shower with hot water in the pool area and three covered garages opposite the entrance to the villa.
Magognino is a small village that fills up with people in the summer months. The village has several grocery shops, but nearby Stresa certainly offers a wider selection. In Stresa it is also possible to find a boat to take you to the Borromee islands, where you can visit the magnificent gardens and sumptuous mansions. The local cuisine is very good and the area's traditional products, including cheese and wine, are excellent. Milan is about 90 km away, Novare 80 Km.
