"Cosy and Comfortable, and very very Cute"
From when we saw it on the internet, to arriving having followed the best directions (including the best food stops along the way) the Groomshouse lived up to all our expectations. A haven from the rat-race, tranquil, idyllic, with views of the Avon river, and a great launching place to the wonders of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. If you have the time Bath was 50 minutes, South Wales 30 minutes and in the Cotswolds we purposely got lost for hours. Like the Tardis (refer Dr Who) it accommodated everything we needed and it is out of this world

"We liked the Groom's House"
This was a first booking for us in a cottage. But it proved to be a very enjoyable stay in a delightful property, in a superb location, overlooking the river Avon. Although tucked away from all noise and bustle the access to all major routes was extremely convenient. The hosts proved to be very helpful, welcoming and friendly. A very nice personal touch was the delivery of freshly picked daffodils from the garden, by the daughter of our hosts.
We would reccomend this well equiped property to anyone seeking a quiet stay in a rural setting with wonderful views, with easy access to the Cotswolds, Shropshire and the Wye Valley.

"A great place to chill out"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grooms House a great place to chill out . It is near to the M5 Strenshem Services but tucked well away down a long single track lane out into the countryside, The accomodation, athough small is just right for 2, with everthing you need and it makes a change to find a holiday property that actually has a comfortable bed. Welcome pack was really good including freshly laid eggs from the owners hens. Plenty to do and see in the area and having direct access to fishing on the River Avon was an added bonus.
