Gushat Cottage is the sympathetic conversion of the stores, cart shed and bakery of the old, Victorian village shop to a new and stylish holiday cottage that is tastefully decorated, equipped to the highest standards with fully fitted kitchen and with every modern convenience.

Sleeping 6, this charming and cosy 4 star cottage has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin, all with en-suite (double and 1 twin on the ground floor). There is a spacious and sumptuous sitting room with galleried library; the large kitchen has every modern convenience; in the corner by the window overlooking the garden there is a teak bench and occasional table ideal for elevenses or morning coffee; a dining room that includes a generous dining table with seating for at least six. The cottage is fully insulated and with wood burning stoves, part electric panel/storage heaters and part underfloor heating so everything is here to ensure a level of warmth and comfort.

Strathtay

Located in the conservation village of Strathtay, the cottage sits opposite the village golf course and is within easy walking distance of the village shop and post office, Highland Chocolatier and café and the Inn on the Tay bar and restaurant. The famous Grandtully Rapids on the River Tay are a stones throw away. The small Highland town of Aberfeldy is just 5 miles to the west and boasts an excellent selection of shops, the newly renovated Birks Cinema, leisure centre with indoor pool, gym, climbing wall and squash courts, 18 hole golf course and a good selection of eateries and takeaways. The area offers a wealth of attractions and activities including walking, cycling, fishing, golf, canoeing, white water rafting, water sports, sailing, horse riding, distilleries, castles, Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay, the list is endless.
