River Haven has been designed with true loving care, with a modern feel and high tech extras. This luxury four star rated holiday home is centrally heated and comes with high spec furnishings and everything necessary for your comfort such as flat screen TVs and DVD Player.
Our lodges are 4 star Tourist Board Rated
The spacious property has superb panoramic views of the River Avon. You can relax on the south-facing patio and watch the barges go by, and there are also fishing rights in front of your decked area. During your stay you could relax in the pretty garden to the side of the Lodge, or visit nearby Stratford. Apart from being steeped in history this town boasts fine dining, shopping and great theatre. Two Golf Clubs are within walking distance, and there are superb walks to be enjoyed through the Warwickshire scenery.

With easy road, rail and airport access, it is the perfect place for a vacation or short break. Using the lodge as a base, you can enjoy the delights not only of Shakespeare’s home town, but also the nearby surrounding shire counties of Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Enjoy Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, Worcester and the Malverns to the west, Warwick Castle and Henley-in-Arden to the north, and all within easy access of Stratford itself.

There is a whole wealth of enjoyable scenery and fascinating places to visit in the Stratford areas. Stratford is a small town surrounded by glorious rural countryside, the colour of which changes from deep greens of spring and winter to the golden harvest yellow of summer and autumn.There are many beautiful small villages each with their own charm and history. The roads and byways are quiet, the natives are friendly and the inns plentiful.

To the South – The Cotswolds. The hills of the Cotswolds of Gloucestershire start just south of Stratford with Chipping Campden, an historic major town. This is the old market town, where woollen merchants traded for hundreds of years. Unaffected by the industrial revolution, you can enjoy old England as it was since the 1700’s. The Cotswolds are famous for the honey-blond stone buildings. The whole town of Chipping Campden is built of it, and is a typical example of the entire district.

Apart from being steeped in history, Stratford-upon-Avon boasts a fantastic shopping, dining and entertainment experience.

From designer boutiques to home made craft and souvenir shops. Restaurants and Bistros to Riverboat dining, and of course the world famous National Shakespeare Theatre featuring legends of stage and screen.

Whether you are after a light lunch or classic cuisine you will find many alternatives to fine dining in and around Stratford-upon-Avon. There are many award winning restaurants providing a wide selection of food to suit all tastes, with a price range to suit every pocket. There are great restaurants such as:- Barasset Barn, Bensons of Stratford, Strada, George Town & Quarto's.

A deposit of £100.00 will be required against damage which will be refunded after inspection

"The Girls Reunion" What a wonderful place, a fantastic welcome. The facilities were superb, a great jumping off spot for David Tenant (Yum-Yum) at the theatre. We will return as official Shakespearian groupies. See you in 2010. (Scotland)

The Davis Family in Cheltenham- Wonderful Lodge all you could ever need. So peaceful on the river. Extremely comfortable. Will be back again.
