About the home

Situated on the ground floor the apartment is modern, light and airy and is decorated and furnished to a high standard providing comfortable accommodation within very easy reach of the town centre and all its amenities.

Parking is available free of charge to guests. The bedroom comprises double bed with lounge area with digital television and DVD player. Wireless (Wi-Fi) internet access is also available free of charge.

The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with breakfast bar, cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, cutlery, china and glassware. The bathroom offers bath with shower over, lavatory and wash hand basin.

Outside, Boscote Apartment has a sunny, private decked terrace with table and chairs. It is a wonderful sun trap and allows you the opportunity to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day!

There is full gas central heating throughout and a constant supply of hot water. Towels and bed linen are provided. A welcome pack comprising bacon, eggs, bread, milk, butter and biscuits is provided for each self-catering break of three nights or more. Tea and coffee are provided in the apartment.

The Apartment can accommodate a travel cot for one small child in the lounge area if required. We are happy to take pets by prior arrangement (nominal charge for pets).

Available for weekly breaks or short breaks of two nights or longer. Just 10 minutes walk into the centre of Stratford Upon Avon and all its amenities. Just 1 minutes walk to the beautiful Stratford Upon Avon Recreation Park, through which the River Avon runs.

Conditions

Full letting weeks are usually from Friday to Friday but the owner is happy to be flexible depending upon other bookings at the time. Please call or e.mail the owner to discuss your requirements.

Our self-catering accommodation is available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Please vacate by 10.30am on your departure date. A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the full balance is required for all bookings with the booking form and final payment is required 6 weeks in advance of the arrival date. Once final payment has been made, this is non-refundable and we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

The client will be liable for the cost of any damage to the property or breakages which occur during the rental period. We respectfully ask clients to leave the accommodation in the condition in which they found it. Clients will be liable for extra cleaning costs.

The owner reserves the right to adjust prices for available weeks shown without notice.

SHORT BREAKS

Short break prices are 55% of the weekly price for 2 night stays, 65% of the weekly price for 3 night stays, 75% of the weeky cost for 4 night stays and 85% of the weekly price for 5 night stays. Thereafter the full weekly price is charged.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Warwickshire region

Beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of William Shakespeare and is steeped in culture and history. Set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK. With easy road, rail and airport access, it is the perfect place for a holiday or short break.

Using the Stratford district as a base, you can enjoy the delights not only of Shakespeare's home town, but also the nearby surrounding shire counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Enjoy Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, Worcester and the Malverns to the west, Warwick Castle and Henley in Arden to the north, and all within an hour's journey of Stratford itself.

For theatre goers there is always something showing at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) with a full set of programmes throughout the year and into 2008.

Stratford-upon-Avon has a very rich and varied programme of events and activities (see our What's On for 2009) throughout the year: theatres, arts, music in the parks, river racing, river cruising, walks along the river or simply relax and take in the atmosphere that is Shakespeare's Stratford.

Boscote Apartment is just ten minutes walk from the centre of Stratford Upon Avon with the wonderful Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Shakespeare's houses all within easy reach. It is also situated just one minutes walk from the beautiful recreation park through which the famous River Avon runs.

At Shakespeare's Birthplace, visitor's can learn all about The Bard's life and works and tour round the houses where he was born and brought up.
