There is sun, or shade if needed, from early morning until late afternoon. In autumn and winter there are colourful pots of pansies and violas, clipped boxtrees and a variety of evergreens. Thank you Val and Simon for providing such an immaculate and spotlessly clean house for our short break in Stratford. Everything you could need for your stay (and more) is in the house and is all of top quality. The location is within easy walking distance of the centre of Stratford. The welcome pack, wine, fresh flowers and toiletries were such a lovely touch. In spite of the bitterly cold weather the house was as warm as toast and very welcoming after a day sightseeing and to come back to after an evening meal. We would most definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return again sometime in the future. Response: What a brilliant review!! Thank you. We are pleased you like what we do and the central heating kept you warm in the unseasonably cold weather. Hope to see you again sometime. |

We really enjoyed our stay at Heritage Mews. It was ideally situated for walking around Stratford upon Avon; warm, completely equipped, the beds were so comfortable and all linen and towels... more Response: Thank you for the great comments. We're delighted you found our place comfortable and enjoyed the courtyard garden - the spring bulbs are coming out now too, adding to the colour! |

The house was compact but immaculate - very clean, very tidy. Other holiday cottages have been lacking in some way, this one had everything. It was very nice to find that we didn't have to go shopping straight away as all the ingredients for a welcoming cup of tea/coffee (and biscuits!) were provided. There were plenty of towels and tea towels and the additional toiletries were a nice touch. The facility to park the car ahead of 'check-in' time was also useful. It was a shame the weather didn't allow us to sit out in the beautifully kept courtyard garden, but it was the end of September. The house is in a quiet area but within five minutes' walk of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and under 10 minutes' walk to the town. The local takeaways also deliver there! It's also a good base for the surrounding areas of Warwickshire - Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa. It's not the cheapest holiday property in the area, but you definitely get what you pay for. We would happily recommend it. Response: Thank you for such an informative review - we're just pleased you enjoyed your stay and liked our house and its location. |
