Enjoy Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, Worcester and the Malverns to the west, Warwick Castle and Henley in Arden to the north, and all within an hour's journey of Stratford itself.
Stratford-upon-Avon has a very rich and varied programme of events and activities throughout the year. Theatres, arts, music in the parks, river racing, river cruising, walks along the river or simply relax and take in the atmosphere that is Shakespeare's Stratford.
Visitors to Stratford-upon-Avon can see all of the original five Shakespeare houses that are carefully restored and managed by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust so visitors can experience how they lived in the 1600's. The three houses in town (The Birthplace, Nash's House/New Place and Hall's Croft) are all within walking distance and there is a touring bus service that will take visitors around town and to the five Shakespeare houses.:

"Second visit: excellent again"
We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Little Croft. Zoe had again provided a fantastic Welcome pack - wine, cake, biscuits, milk etc, which was most thoughtful. We arrived on a windy, wet afternoon, but immediately felt at home in the well- heated and comfortable accommodation. Everything was spotless and the large amount of utensils provided was very useful when we decided to stay in and cook a meal ( plus the dishwasher!)
The property is so convenient to numerous National Trust properties, and Mary Arden's Farm is a few minutes drive away. Likewise, the Park and Ride into Stratford, and the Maybird Shopping Centre. Cotswold villages are also easy to reach.
We are already hoping to return for another few days next Spring.
Thanks again, Zoe!

"Modern, cosy cottage on the outskirts of Stratford"
If we could sum this property up in one word it would be...exceptional. When we first arrived we were greeted by a lovely welcome basket consisting of all you need after a long drive - wine, crisps and pie. Zoe was very helpful and showed us all the functions of the cottage and let us get on to enjoy our holiday but was always available for advice if needed. The cottage itself was extremely clean and had all the essential amenities you would require for a weekend away. There has obviously been a lot of thought into the design and layout of this cottage and it really does show, although quite compact everything has it's place and it's more than comfortable for 2 people. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, with Stratford only a 5 minute drive away or a £8 taxi fare. If you do travel to Stratford head to sheep street where there is an array of very good restaurants and further down from this is the very beautiful and scenic canal. Definitely will be coming back in the future and recommending to friends.

"The best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed at!"
Little Croft is definitely a home - from - home property. Very clean, new, modern kitchen and bathroom .The living area and bed were so comfortable. Zoe, the owner was very friendly and helpful, but not obtrusive in any way. A welcome pack of wine and food, with milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. We stayed for six nights and the towels were changed after three days, which we have not experienced anywhere else. That was greatly appreciated.
Only a few minutes from the Park and Ride into Stratford which was so convenient and a few miles from Mary Arden's Farm. We were able to visit a number of National Trust properties all within easy distance. Cannot rate this delightful property highly enough and we hope to return!
Thank you so much for taking your time to do a review for Little Croft .We are so glad you enjoyed your holiday with us enjoying and discovering Stratford Upon Avon and the surrounding areas and have rated us so highly.
We really hope to see you again in the future.

"Excellent, will take a lot to find somewhere better."
Little Croft is in the same grounds as the main house but secluded from it by a small wooden fence giving you your own privacy.
The accommodation was excellent, furnishings and equipment first class. TV in lounge and bedroom, immaculte kitchen which included cooker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher etc. very clean bathroom with shower, all you need for a comfortable stay and all of very good quality, there's even a barbeque and two patio areas with table and chairs for the summer months outside. I can't think of anything that could have been better.
We really enjoyed the comfort of staying there and coupled with the helpfulness of Zoe, the owner, to ensure everything went as smooth as possible from booking to picking up the keys went towards making our weeks stay a memorable one.
The location is ideal, being just a few minutes drive north of the main A46 roundabout outside Stratford-upon-Avon getting to various interesting places in the surrounding area was easy and avoided a lot of the traffic from Stratford (this roundabout also held the Stratford Park and Ride site, we used this when we wanted to visit the town, saving us the hassle of finding somewhere to park and avoiding the sometimes heavy traffic in the town).
There is also a nice little pub/restaurant, the Armories Arms, just a few minutes drive up the road from Little Croft that does very good food at a good price.
All in all I can't recommend Little Croft highly enough,it more than exceeded our expectations and no doubt we will return there again.
Thank you for taking the time to do a review for us at Little Croft. We are so glad you had such a good week exploring Stratford Upon Avon and the surrounding area and relaxing in the cottage.
We really hope to see you again next year!

"A very comfortable and cosy stay in lovely surroundings"
We recently stayed at Little Croft for our wedding anniversary. We received a warm welcome from Zoe, the owner, and the welcome pack was a lovely addition. The property itself was immaculately clean and housed everything you'd need for your holiday, great cooking facilities, lovely bathroom with powerful shower and a cosy King size bed.
Being only 2 miles away, the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon was very accessible. We even travelled to the Cheltenham food and drink festival during our stay which was only a 45-50 minute car journey.
Thank you for taking time to review Little Croft.
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed celebrating your anniversary.
It would be lovely to welcome you back in the future.
