The Wheat House has been thoughtfully converted and tastefully decorated to provide luxurious accommodation for up to 6 guests.

Of the 3 bedrooms, there are two double and one twin, one of them also have a shower cubicle.

The kitchen is well-equipped and well presented, whilst the large open plan living area is light with tall windows and a upstairs galleried area with views into the garden and the open countryside. This property has a 32" flat screen TV, DVD player and I pod speakers

The décor is contemporary in style with attractive and comfortable furnishings throughout. There are 3 bedrooms, two of which have double beds and there is one twin bedded room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an extensive range of modern appliances catering for all your requirements.

The spacious lounge has a TV, leather sofas and a dining table and chairs. Rear access to the communal gardens leads to views of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, the nearby local farm and surrounding villages.

This property offers extensive accommodation for up to 6 people and is one of our larger, individually designed holiday homes. We recommend it for families or groups of friends who are looking for something with extra style and comfort.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Warwickshire region

Warwickshire is most known for Stratford upon Avon and for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Nestled between Birmingham and the West Midlands to the north and the Cotswolds to the south Warwickshire has a fair share of rolling countryside, and a great history and heritage to share.

Places of interest within the county are Kenilworth and its magnificent castle ruins. It is also thought to be the location of the first planted potato on British soil that Sir Walter Raleigh brought back from South America.

Leamington Spa displays much Georgian and Victorian architecture that gives it a rather grandiose appearance. Due to population expansion, Leamington has seemingly blurred its boundaries with Warwick. Its student population has created a lively night life and a number of restaurants and bars to choose from whether you are wanting a bargain or something a little more extravagant.

The Stratford upon Avon / Weston-On-Avon area

Welford on Avon is just 4 miles from Stratford upon Avon and serves as an ideal location for visiting the local area but being just that little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the tourism that Stratford attracts.

Also nearby are the beautiful Cotswold villages of Stow on the Wold, market towns of Burford and Woodstock not to mention the dreaming spires of Oxford or the history at Blenheim Palace.

Welford stands on the River Avon and is a small village with all your essential amenities and three pubs to choose from. It is also home to the tallest Maypole in Europe.

In nearby Stratford all your cultural needs are met. A number of theaters playing a large variety of Shakespeare's plays; it is home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. Shakespeare's birthplace can be visited and a walk through town provides a fascinating observation on Tudor architecture.

A mile from the centre in Shottery village is Anne Hathaway's Cottage, which is actually a substantial 12 roomed farmhouse and was the pre-marital home of Shakespeare's wife Anne.
Mary Arden, Shakespeare's mother, had a house in Wilmcote just 3 miles out of Stratford, that now houses a large museum to the history of rural life
