"I wish I could live here!"
We weren't sure what to expect since we booked online, but this was absolutely my favorite place in all of England. Unbelievably beautiful English countryside right outside Stratford upon Avon. … More

"The English country side at its best with accommodation to match."
We took our family away for a week at Mutton Barn. We were 6 adults and two children and we all had plenty of room. Having two lounge areas allows for games, DVD/TV and reading to suit all. The area surrounding the house is marvellous with wonderful views. The house is a treat, comfortable but not precious so you feel at ease. Although very rural Mutton Barn is not too remote...good shops are only 7 minutes away. The area offers many good options for family outings (Warwick Castle is not to be missed!). Altogether we enjoyed a great holiday. Paul is an attentive host who is very keen to please his visitors. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous holiday in a home that has everything from a warm homely feel, great views, quiet location, lovely walks, furnished beautifully to an extremely helpful and friendly owner.
I thought I had died and gone to heaven whilst sitting on the bedroom balcony eating my breakfast, watching the deer, green woodpeckers and race horses in training.
A huge thank you Paul!

"Fantastic views, pretty, well-equipped barn conversion with great walks from your doorstep"
Had a lovely holiday. Plenty to visit nearby. Lots of help and advice on local restaurants etc from the owner, Paul.
Never got bored with the wonderful views from the house, which was superb and very light and airy. Plenty of windows to take in the 360 degree views.

Mutton Barn is a wonderful property in a perfect location surrounded by beautiful countryside and amazing views. The accommodation and facilities are of the highest standard and everything is spotlessly clean.
Their are great local amenities, pubs and places to visit in the area.
This is the second time we have stayed in Mutton Barn and have already booked for next year. We are always made to feel very welcome by the owner.

"A very special find..."
A wonderful property set in a magical location. If you love peace and quiet and open countryside then you will love this place. We have 2 dogs and they had their own outdoor shower area! Just perfect for washing them off before allowing them into the house.
Beautiful woodland with lots of wildlife to watch just from your back door. Two good pubs within walking distance - both allow dogs in the beer gardens.
We felt like we'd found a new friend in Paul who is really passionate about the countryside (especially owls!!) and also about Mutton Barn. The property is wonderful and done out to a really high standard. Plenty of places to relax in the grounds of the property, with loungers, outdoor table and chairs, a balcony and soon a rooftop terrace. All perfect for enjoying the sunshine and idyllic views.
There are lots of places to visit nearby, but we didn't feel we needed to..we just really enjoyed being in and around the property.
We loved it and will be returning next year... Best book quick though because this is bound to become a property that's much in demand!!
The perfect result! a happy customer who wants to return and book early. Thank you and I look forward to having your wine ready on the rooftop terrace next year ... your new mate x

"Superb accommodation in the heart of tranquil countryside"
We stayed at Mutton Barn whilst attending a family wedding. It is approached via a small track and is not visible until you round a bend by the wood. Our first impression was one of pleasure that it looked so neat and well kept. upon entering this turned to amazement at the quality of finish and the attention to detail. Everything we needed was supplied, from the welcome pack, including wine, to the satnav ready programmed with the local sights and necessities such as Waitrose!
We were soon met by Paul who spent some time with us extolling the intricacies of the environmentally friendly features. Power for the house is supplied by a generator and batteries , but we were never aware of this. Paul was always available at the end of a phone and could not do enough to help us without being at all intrusive. At breakfast we watched deer passing by on the track and a Hare jumping in the field. The Barn is dog friendly an our Labrador enjoyed long morning walks across the local meadows and woodland.
Because we were going to a wedding we could not really do the facilities justice and will have to return in the future. A magical place.
