There are stunning villages and market towns full of charm and character. You will find yourself admiring the traditionally build cottages, palaces and monuments.
This region also has a wonderful scenery, loads of walk paths for you to enjoy the best of nature. In the heart of England this rural countryside has so much to offer, you will always want to come back for an enjoyable and relaxing time.
Stow on the Wold area
There is no lack of Antique shops and tea rooms here in Stow-on-the-Wold! Cotswold cream teas are juxtaposed with independent high fashion and interior design.
Sited on the Roman Fosse Way, Stow boasts one of the finest market squares in the country and is the highest town in the Cotswolds. In Stow, the final skirmishes of the Civil war took place in 1646. With 17th and 18th Century architecture in honeyed mellow stone it is small wonder that the area is designated as being of natural outstanding beauty.
There are many walks and attractions in the area along with stately homes and gardens open to the public in the area. For those food buffs there are many restaurants and public houses within walking distance of Devon House Cottage.

Only 90 mins by Train from London Paddington (to Moreton In Marsh Station). Moreton In Marsh is 4 miles from Stow on the Wold.
