Park Cottage has been sympathetically renovated and decorated to a high standard. Full of cottage charm and providing all modern requirements. The cottage has been furnished and equipped to give you a home from home holiday experience. Only luxury soft furnishings and fittings, such as Osbourne & Little, Fired Earth, Laura Ashley, Cath Kidston, Farrow & Ball and The White Company to a name a few, have been used in the interior design of the cottage.
There is a spacious lounge with two big comfy sofas and a reading chair. An open fire should you want to stay in and just relax.The lounge has colour TV with teletext, DVD, stereo CD with DAB radio. Books and board games have been provided for your leisure. There is a wealth of information on places to visit and books about The Cotswolds.
A cottage style dining room with seating for 6 and a wooden high chair has leaded French doors that lead out to the beautiful courtyard garden with both wooden and iron patio furniture, parasol and outside lighting. A truly tranquil little garden for al-fresco dining on a balmy summer evening.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with kingsize iron bed, an en-suite bathroom, antique pine and satinwood furniture and wall mouned flat screen TV.
The second bedroom has standard iron and brass double bed, small library and radio.
A wet room with power shower, Italian marble wash bowl, heated towel rail and mirror fitted by Fired Earth.
On the ground floor is one double bedroom with access to toilet with wash basin and shaving point. This room has standard double iron and brass bedstead. This room may be suitable for people with limited mobility.
Newly fitted, the bespoke kitchen by Cotteswood of Oxfordshire has all the equipment needed for the keen cook and has a great selection of cookery books. The Rayburn/Aga cooker provides the hot water and central heating.
Located in a little side road which has parking directly outside the cottage. There is also the added benefit of one private parking space behind locked gates.
Just a short walk to the main square of Stow on the Wold with its many eating places and interesting shops.

Stow has a very good selection of Inns, restaurants and bistros, some award winning and serving fine local produce. A local Butcher, Wine Shop, Chemist, Bakery, 2 wonderful Delcatessens and a village store are all located a short walk from the cottage.
Walking, cycling and driving are a pleasure in the North Cotswolds, designated an area of outstanding beauty. Fishing, golf, horse-riding and even water sports are all available locally. There are National Trust and Heritage Properties, open gardens, museums and animal farm parks to name just a few places of interest.
The cottage has full gas central heating and electricty which is incuded in the price. Luxury hand soaps and hand creams, along with a supply of cleaning prodcuts which includes, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls are also provided.

The Cotswolds is famous for its pretty honey coloured stone cottages, quaint little shops, antiques and book shops, reclamation yards and welcoming Inns, many which serve fine local produce. The famous cities of Oxford, Cheltenham, Warwick with its Castle, Stratford upon Avon and Bath are all within easy reach. With so much to see and do they is never enough time to spend in this beautiful part of England. Stow on the Wold is one of the finest examples of a Cotswold Market Town, little lanes will take you into the famous Square which has buildings dating back to 947AD. A settlement has exisited here since the Iron Age. The Rollright Stones are one of the oldest stone circles in Britain.

Stow on the Wold, meaning meeting place on the hill. Stow lies in the northeast cotswolds an set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the North Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold market towns and has many wonderful views. It is an unspoiled and charming small town once famous for its wool trade, but now better known for its antique shops, art galleries, book and craft shops. The mellow Cotswold stone buildings are a mix of 17th and 18th century origins, giving an atmosphere of a time and pace of life long past. The Wells in Well Lane were build by the Romans and are still used today.

The cottage is constantly updated and redecorated to retain a freshness that is always welcoming. Quality new matresses are on all three beds and cotton bed linen, which is replaced on a regular basis. Hand soaps and towels are provided as well as cleaning products. The lounge has two large comfy sofas and a reading chair. Shabby chic country style with Cath Kidton soft furnishings. The Master bedroom has a Laura Ashley kingsize bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, hair dryer and an en-suite bathroom. Designer fabrics including Fired Earth, The White Company and Laura Ashley have been used in the interior design of this room. The second bedroom has a standard double brass and iron bedstead and again Laura Ashley and Farrow & Ball have been used in the decor. This room has a selection of books, radio and hair dryer for your use. The third bedroom on the ground floor has had the same attention to detail in the decor. Brass and iron bedstead with cotton bed linen. Laura Ashley soft furnishings. A hair dryer is provided.
The cottage is surrounded by plenty of free street parking and one also has one private parking space.
The original mullion windows remain to the front of the property and new mullions have been used in the modernisation to the rear of the cottage. The courtyard garden faces south and makes the perfect place to sit an enjoy a pre-dinner drink during the summer.
The cottage is only a short walk from the main town with it many eating places, so nobody needs to drive!

Children are only accepted with prior agreement with the owner. The cottage sleeps a maximum of six adults in three double beds, one new travel/cot bed is available. There is no strictly no smoking allowed anywhere inside the cottage. Park Cottage is self-catering, towels and bed linen is changed weekly, but can be changed mid week at extra cost. All beds are made-up ready for your arrival. The Terms & Conditions can be seen our own website. Bookings are only accepted with full agreement to the Terms & Conditions.
