Gorgeous fully air-conditioned villa in fantastic quiet location. Close to beach, tavernas and shops. Sleeps up to 8 with sea and mountain views and private olive grove
Stoupa is a picturesque seaside village on the Mani peninsular of the Peloponnese region of Greece. The clean sandy beaches and clear blue waters are overlooked by a range of tavernas, cafes and tourist shops. Within fifteen minutes walk to the beach, the villa is very private with stunning sea and mountain views. Villa Serendipity is stone built in traditional Mani style and has been completed to a high standard. It has three large and airy air conditioned bedrooms and sleeps between six and eight. It has two bathrooms accommodating a walk in shower in one, and a bath tub with a shower over in the other.
The villa is set in a sizeable plot surrounded by a traditional stone wall, with a large balcony, as well as plenty of garden and terracing on which to relax. The walled olive grove is a shady place to stroll. Villa Serendipity is a beautiful villa set in a stunning location in the warm and friendly resort of Stoupa.
Dining: Villa Serendipity has been furnished to a high standard to ensure a luxurious stay. The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and Tassimo coffee machine. We also have a washing machine. The solid oak worktops are kept in their perfect condition by liberal applications of olive oil from the villa's own olive grove. We have indoor and outdoor dining areas. The large 144 square foot balcony has a beautiful table and reclining carver chairs for balmy evenings of al fresco eating.
In the front private garden we have two more outdoor dining and relaxation areas and two steamer chairs.
Living Area: The living area is comfortable with two large sofas and a coffee table. A DVD player is the perfect accompaniment to the 32' LCD HDTV. There are a range of comedies and family films to choose from. The villa also has a Play Station 2 with a range of games.
Bedrooms: The villa has three fully air conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. Crisp white linen makes every bed inviting with a mix of designer bedding and the finest 800 count Egyptian cotton. Further soft furnishings appear in the form of cushions and throws, made variously from silk, real suede, velvet and wool to give the rooms an opulent feel.

"AGREABLE MAISON DE VACANCES"
Une maison très agréable à vivre, idéalement située un peu en retrait de la station balnéaire de Stoupa: calme et très jolie vue sur la baie dont on peut profiter sur la terrasse dès le matin.… More

"Great balance of rural peacefulness & beach-front accessibility"
Villa Serendipity has lots of space and is very well kept. It is decorated in a minimalist and stylish way. Great thought seems to have been put into providing everything holiday makers might require and the villa information folder has been prepared equally thoughtfully. During our mid-June visit there were no immediate neighbours so it was very quiet and peaceful. On the first day we had a problem with the front door handle/lock which was immediately fixed for us. We used the balcony a lot - it is a small pity about a rather ugly building in the line of sight, but then nothing is perfect!
The sea is not nearly as far away as it appears on first sight from the villa and the 10-15 minute stroll down past the chickens, olive groves, etc, were one of the many enjoyable aspects of our stay.
We would have liked a mid-week house clean but while the linen was changed mid-week that was all, otherwise we would rate the villa as "excellent".
A suggestion: if there had been a power cut we couldn't work out how we'd light a candle with a gas-lighter, fortunately we didn't need to! Matches would be better.
Finally, any pre-arrival questions we had were very promptly answered for us.
