The perfect Gold Award winning luxury Holiday Cottage for large groups of family & friends to celebrate or just chill out in the heart of the rural Suffolk countryside and enjoy clear skies, fresh air and the natural unspoilt charm of Suffolk

Woodfarm House is a very spacious 15th Century thatched farmhouse full of character and atmosphere where you can spread out and enjoy the house and this very rural area of Suffolk. This fabulous holiday cottage with its lovely log fire, easily sleeps 7 people

Woodfarm House offers a lovely self catering holiday experience in a Historic thatched farmhouse full of original features and it is the ideal base for families or a group of friends to explore what Suffolk has to offer

It lies on the outskirts of the village of Stonham Aspal on the Suffolk Tourist Route, along which many popular and interesting places are found, it is within easy striking distance of the lovely Suffolk Coastal destinations like Southwold, Thorpness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.

Downstairs there is a large farmhouse kitchen with a big kitchen range and a big table which is the heart of the house. There is a handy downstairs shower room and a big larder room.

The hall leads through to the spacious sitting room with its beautiful inglenook fire place and round into the large formal dining room. Two staircases lead up to two double bedrooms and one twin. The main staircase is narrow and steep.

To get to the master double bedroom you walk through a single “landing” bedroom with a single bed, ideal for children

Woodfarm House has three bathrooms, one of which is an ensuite. The 3rd bathroom with a powerful shower is on the ground floor, located next to the kitchen.

The cottage has a fenced and sunny kitchen garden and at the front there is a pretty BBQ area and lots of space to lie around in.

Woodfarm House is 'dog-friendly' with a private, enclosed garden, as are all of our cosy, romantic cottages. We normally accept one or two dogs but we're happy to discuss another with you. We even leave a dog treat as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!

The cottage is down a tiny countryside lane, a few hundred yards outside the village. Bikes are provided FREE of charge for you to enjoy these pretty lanes, as well as hundreds of DVD's, CD's and Books!

We even give an off-peak discount for couples or small groups! - 2 guests using the master bedroom – 20% discount, 3 or 4 guests using the master bedroom and one other – 10% discount

The East Anglia region

Suffolk is well reknowned for some amazing heritage tourism, deep in culture, mixed with unspoilt countryside as well as a stunning coastline

The region is one of the driest and warmest counties in the UK. I'm not saying never rains because it does!

Stonham Aspal

We are surrounded by quiet country lanes, untouched hedgerows and adundant wildlife. If you are looking for an escape from the nrom to relax and recharge your batteries then try Suffolk once. You'll be back

We also have plenty of superb pubs, restaurants, deli's, coffee shops and loads of great shopping
