"Clean but wouldn't come back"

Booked 3 nights in September 2014, stayed only 2. Travelled with my wife. First impressions are really nice, well located holiday cottage, everything appears clean and well organised. Major quibble we… More

We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. This is the first complaint we've had about the comfort of the seating and beds. The mattresses on the beds are soft in terms of firmness which many of our customers like, but it's impossible to cater for all tastes. We have since tried the sofa bed and found the cushions could do with refilling which we're planning on doing shortly.

The access to the property is via a private lane so there is no street lighting which is fairly standard. A torch is provided in the cottages for our customers to use.

We don't currently have wifi at the cottages but we do get mobile coverage for Orange and O2 networks.

"Quiet, comfortable and clean cottage in a really lovely area"

The owners were very accommodating in handling our long-weekend booking. The cottage has a bright and airy feel to it with remarkable views from the upstairs living areas. Parking is also very handy and it's perfectly practical to park within a few feet of the door.
The village of Ipstones, in which it's situated, is a very friendly place with a fantastic shop/post office within a few minutes walk from the cottage.

All in all, highly recommended.

"Clean & comfortable accommodation in a delightful 'get away from it all' location."
