This 4-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 14 and includes 3 large double bedrooms, a penthouse suite (cot also available), a large kitchen, formal dining room with ornate cupola, large formal lounge with TV, DVD and uninterrupted elevated views of Stirling Castle and the Trossachs. 3 bathrooms (2 showers / one bath) one en suite. The bath is a spa bath and the main shower room incorporates a steam room. Wi Fi Internet Access available.

Albert Apartment benefits from spectacular views. It is located just minutes from the city centre and many of Stirling’s historic visitor attractions, including Stirling Castle (of which there are spectacular views from two of the apartments). Stirling is within easy reach of many other must-see places, including Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.

The Central Scotland / Strathclyde / Stirling County region

Stirling is the gateway to the Highlands and affords easy access to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, as well as other must-see places such as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.

For Golfers other more famous golf courses are within easy reach of Stirling, most notably Gleneagles (20 minutes drive); Muirfield, St Andrews, Carnoustie and Loch Lomond all approximately one hour’s drive.

The Stirling area

Albert Apartment is situated in an absolutely perfect position within Stirling’s historic King’s Park area. The Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum is immediately next door (café and gardens in addition to museum). The renowned Stirling Golf Club (Visitors welcome) is immediately across the street. Spectacular views of Stirling Castle are available from many rooms within the apartments and the Castle can be visited on foot only 10 minutes walk away. The former historic gardens of Stirling Castle, ‘The King’s Knot’ are situated on Royal Gardens directly opposite the property. All the facilities of the City Centre (shops, restaurants, railway station, bus station etc. are 5 minutes walk away. Other tourist attractions which are also immediately accessible on foot include Stirling Old Town Jail.

By air: Edinburgh Airport is half an hour to the south east by car. Glasgow airport is 45 minutes by car. Dundee Airport is 1 hour by car. From Edinburgh Airport take M9 to Junction 10 and follow car directions above. From Glasgow Airport, take M8 to Glasgow, once through Glasgow take M80 to Stirling. M80 turns into M9 at Stirling. Get off at Junction 10 and follow car directions above.

By rail: Regular train services from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Upon arrival at Stirling Railway Station, follow pedestrian directions from town centre.

By road: From Junction 10 of the M9 follow signs to Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle (A84) at the 4th Roundabout (Fire Station on left and Stirling Castle straight ahead and above you) go straight ahead onto the B8051. At 1st roundabout turn left onto Albert Place. Royal Gardens Holiday Villas is now immediately ahead and to the left of you (The big building with Twin Towers).

From the town centre: From the Town Centre walk west on Albert Place / Dumbarton Road for approximately 5 minutes until Stirling Castle comes into view on your right hand side. Royal Gardens holiday Villas is at 42 Albert Place which is the last building on the right hand side of Albert Place at the junction with Royal Gardens.

“Wonderful place - great relax” We (Swiss) came in a group of 14 people with total ten kids of all ages. We had a great time in this wonderful, large and luxurious place. Very nice owner, great surroundings, peaceful, five minutes walk to the city centre, large parks in the neighborhood. Beautiful view of the castle, washing machine, dish washing machine, t.v., even books, games. Golf set available, and golf course and tennis court right over the street, even though we didn't use them. Our kids played football with local kids in a park around the corner. A big shopping centre five minutes away by car. Good strategic location for who wants to visit Scotland by car as we did.

“Fab apartment in a great location” Stayed for a weekend break with friends. Fantastic apartment in a great location. Superb views of the castle and easy acces to city centre. Apartment is well funished and the owner Martyn was very welcoming and close at hand should anything crop up. Highlight of our stay and would definitely recommend is hiring the resident chef for an evening who was able to provide fully catered dinner for us - fantastic!!!!

“great house in fab location” We stayed for a weekend break with family and baby. The owner was welcoming and close at hand in case of any problems. The apartment is v well furnished and equipped with everything you could need for a family weekend. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Stirling is a great city to visit and the location meant we could visit everywhere on foot - great with a baby.

“Magic experience that made our holiday” Fantastic. Great location, superb views of the Castle and looking towards the Trossachs. Easy access to the city centre, only a ten-minute walk. We stayed for 3 months and, as expected over such a long time. little things cropped up in the house, such as a broken water heater and handle snapping off the washing machine. But everything was dealt with promptly and to our complete satisfaction by Martyn. We stayed in both the small and arge apartments and they are both excellent.
