This sixteenth century castle, which sleeps 8 adults and 2 children, is sited between Glasgow and Edinburgh overlooking the Ochil hills. It is rustic in style with stone floors, vaulted ceilings, stone clad walls and wood panelling throughout. Set on 3 floors, with the highlight being the feature Great Hall, which can cater for groups of up to 30 people. Additional accommodation for 4 more people can be achieved by hiring the tower apartment next door.

"This castle is no luxury stay"

This property was rebuilt in 1991 on the foundation of a medieval castle. The tower dates back to the 14th century. So the idea of staying there was fun. Unfortunately, it fell short of our expecta… More
