The cottage is set beneath the Gargunnock Hills, just a mile from the village of Gargunnock. The real gift of this property is its view of the village and hills beyond.

The house itself has 4 bedrooms, a large living room with gas log effect fire, flat screen tv and views to Ben Lomond and the Trossachs from its bay window leads onto a modern conservatory. Downstairs there is a family bathroom, kitchen, 2 of the main bedrooms, dining room and kitchen with breakfast room.

Upstairs are two further bedrooms including a very large master bedroom with built in wardrobes, and a separate shower room/wc.

The property has gas central heating, a large, very child friendly garden with sandpit and swingset. There is a decked and patiarea and built-in barbeque for outside dining.

Parking available for 4/5 cars.

This property is just off the A811 which offers fantastic links to Loch Lomond, Trossachs, Gleneagles, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Stirlingshire region

The property is situated in central Scotland, close to the historic city of Stirling. There is an abundance of stunning scenery in the area, including hills and mountains, castles and historic battlegrounds, Loch Lomond, Lake of Menteith and lots of country walks.

For those wanting to visit Edinburgh or Glasgow, this property is perfectly placed as a base for touring the central region of Scotland. The cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached by train and bus as well as excellent motorway links

Further north, its 20 minutes to Gleneagles Golf Centre, Perth is reachable by car or train in less than 45 minutes. St Andrews is 1.5 hours away by car.

Stirling

Applegarth is placed just off the main A811 which links Stirling to Loch Lomond and the Trossach mountains. The property is just a 10 minute walk (or 2 min drive) from the village of Gargunnock, where there is a fully stocked licensed shop, a pub with dining and the local Church of Scotland.

Locally, there are other small villages of Kippen, Thornhill and Doune, all of which have excellent pub dining establishments.

Stirling city is only 10 minutes away - with a direct route from the house in to the centre of the city. You literally have only one road to follow!

From the property you can enjoy stunning views of the village and the Gargunnock Hills beyond. From every window in the house, there is a view of the hills, woodland, the Trossach mountains or the Gargunnock Hills.
