Newhouse is a bright, cosy, beautifully presented 2 bedroom apartment, situated on the ground floor of an original Victorian tenement. Only a short 5 minute walk from the city centre , the apartment, built in 1880, still retains its original charm in the ornate cornicing and original Victorian fireplaces in the Master bedroom and Living Room.

The Master Bedroom has a stylish, modern Double Bed ,with matching large 3 door wardrobe with 2 drawer base, matching 5 drawer chest and an armchair.

The second bedroom has a beautiful, metal framed single bed plus a fold away Guest bed available for use making this property suitable for up to 4 guests.

After a hard day’s sightseeing you can relax in the Living Room which has a sofa, armchair, free WiFi and a large flat screen TV with Freeview.

A fully equipped modern kitchen, with folding table and 4 chairs in the Living area, has everything you need for a pleasant stay: Diplomat Stainless Steel 4 ring Gas Hob ,electric oven and extractor fan, Bosch Washing Machine,Fridge, toaster, kettle and ample crockery and cutlery also provided.

The fully tiled modern shower room has a large Mira Advance shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

The apartment has full gas central heating throughout and there is ample free parking directly in front of the property.

There is also use of a shared, well-kept garden to the rear of the property .

Within easy reach of all major motorways ( Junction 9 and 10 of the M9 are only 5 mins drive away) this property is also close to the historical site of the Battle of Bannockburn and the plethora of historical sites Stirling has to offer : Stirling Castle, the Old Town Jail, the Wallace Monument, the Tolbooth to name but a few.

The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

Bannockburn does not stand alone as an area of historical importance ; other areas of historic interest are on the doorstep: just a five minute's drive away to the charming village and local pubs of Cambusbarron and five minutes in the opposite direction for Cambuskenneth and its famous Abbey. Wallace’s Monument is a 10 min drive; on the way, stop off and visit the Old Stirling Bridge or the site of the famous Battle of Bannockburn.

The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts: walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further away are The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.

Stirling

Newhouse is at the very heart of Braveheart country; a two minute walk to the historical Bannockburn Heritage Centre and only 5 minutes by car to all the attractions within the historic City: the magnificent Castle and rich Scottish heritage centre, the Old City Jail, the Tollbooth, a modern shopping centre, small quaint arcades and several supermarkets.

There are also a good selection of pubs, restaurants and other [places to eat near the property . Nick Nairn’s famous cookery school is also a mere 20 minute drive away in nearby Port of Menteith.

Golf being available at every turn: in the city, Kings Park’s own course and at least another five within Falkirk district, a 15 minute drive away. Slightly further afield are the world famous Gleneagles and St Andrew’s Old Course.

Transport within the area offers excellent links to all areas; Edinburgh and Glasgow (airports) are within one hour’s drive. Stirling also has a good bus/rail network and motorways heading both North, further through Scotland, and South towards England and Wales.
