Rowan Cottage is situated at West Drip Farm, on the Carse of Stirling. It enjoys a quiet and peaceful location with panoramic views over farmland towards the National Wallace Monument, Ochil and Gargunnock Hills. West Drip is a family run, arable farm.

The cottage can sleep up to six people plus a baby and is suitable for the disabled. It has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area with French doors opening onto the patio and garden. It has three bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin) the master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there is a main bathroom. The cottage has a private garden with children's swing, plenty of parking and farm walks to enjoy. There is oil central heating throughout with instant hot water at all times, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi are provided at no extra charge.

As Rowan Cottage is situated 3 miles north of Stirling and one mile from the M9 allowing you all the benefits of a rural setting but with excellent transport links north and south. Blairdrummond Safari Park is just a short run along the A84 as is the road to Scotland's first National Park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs . We are 50 minutes drive from Scotland's capital city Edinburgh and its largest city Glasgow.

We are the ideal location for the Ryder Cup 2014 as we are situated very close to the Stirling Park and Ride (around 5 minutes by car) and 20 minutes' drive from Gleneagles. Please contact Eleanor direct with your Ryder Cup requirements.

The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

Blairdrummond is a few miles just north west of Stirling City. It is a farming area and also the location of Blairdrummond Safari and Adventure Park.

Stirling is Scotland's newest city and also one of its most historic. Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument are both iconic visitor attractions,

Stirling is a cosmopolitan city with good shopping, bars, restaurants and a number of festivals throughout the year.

Stirling is the known at "the Gate Way to the Highlands" due to its location in Central Scotland, and its cross roads transport links by car or rail for travelling to see Scotland's other cities and Southern Highlands. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both under an hour by car or rail from Stirling.

Stirling is also the gateway to Loch Lomond and the Torssachs. Scotland's first national park is centred on Loch Lomond and is home to some of Scotland's finest scenery. There are many activities on offer within the National Park walking, climbing, sailing, fishing, canoeing, horse riding and more!
