"Superb cottage in picturesque location"

We loved the cottage. Very well furnished and high quality fixtures and fittings. The owners have thought of everything including all the kitchen utensils you could possibly imagine, BBQ, outside furniture, DVDs, board games, etc. The outside space was excellent for sitting outside and relaxing. This is the perfect spot for those on a waking/cycling holidays with countless routes to explore. We have a newborn and had to travel everywhere by car. There is a 3 mile single track road to the cottage which was a little hazardous if you came across any traffic coming in the opposite direction and was around 16 miles away from the nearest village of Aberfoyle. For us it was a little too remote and we probably would have been better at the other side of Loch Katrine. Overall, a great experience of Scotland.

"Most relaxing holiday in years"

Our stay at The Glengyle Macgregor was amazing. The cottage itself was very homely and was very well presented. You had everything you needed and more.
The owner was very helpful and provided all the information required. All communication was very prompt and offered first class customer service.
On arrival and our entire duration of our stay, we were blown away by how beautiful and breathtaking Scotland is. The views on and around Loch Katrine was amazing. We went on Sir Walter Scott Steam Boat which was a two hour trip around Loch Katrine which was very worth while.
There are lots of activities to suit all ages and abilities in the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend The Glengyle Macgregor to anyone who appreciates beautiful scenery and is looking for a relaxing break. We would definitely plan to return.

We are so pleased to hear that our guests love the cottage and the area as much as we do. We hope that you go on to enjoy many holidays there.

"Stunning location perfect cottage."

We arrived at the Glengyle MacGregor quite late after travelling all day to get there. So we did not get to see the magnificent scenery until the following morning. Everything we needed was there to make our stay really enjoyable. We slept well as the beds were nice and comfortable. Not having to fight over who got to use the bathroom first was an added bonus (it was nice to have 2 to choose from) We will definatley being going back there hopefully in the summer although there are very few places that we have visited more than once. Even the rain did not spoil things for us.

Thank you very much for your feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you decide to return.
