The Sardinia region
Stintino is located in the north west corner of Sardinia. It is a pictoresque village of 1300 people with two small fisherman ports, born in 1885 when 45 fisherman families moved to mainland from the Asinara island. The Saline and Pelosa beaches are few km away from the village. The second one, with its bright fine sand, it blue water and the beautiful panorama of the Asinara Island, is among the finest of the whole Sardinia and Mediterranean sea. Sardinia offer 300 sunshine days per year and an average temperature that vary from 14°C to 20° C. So that you can experience an incredibly holiday from Easter to October.
Stintino / Roccaruja area
Stintino rises on the far Sardinian north-west coast, in front of Asinara, a small island where once there was one of the most important Italian penitentiary and today turned into natural park, known for its beautiful and intact nature and reachable only by boat subject to agreement of Local Port Police. The most famous beach is "La Pelosa", with its unique crystalline shallow waters and breathtaking colours.

The white seashore of Gabbiano is only 350 m far and only 500 m from Pelosa seashore, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean seashores. For people who love rocky coasts, it is possible to reach the close “Valle della Luna”, a fantastic bay, perfect for snorkeling where visitors can enjoy wonderful sunsets. The house is perfect for 6 people and it is the ideal solution for two families or three couples of friends. At the ground floor there is a living-room furnished with a sofa bed, dining-table and cupboard. The kitchenette is equipped with electrical household appliances include washing machine. The living-room opens to a large veranda seaview: the ideal place to relax after a sea-day and to enjoy summer evenings. At the ground floor there is the master-bedroom, bathroom with shower and washing-machine, and also another double room with a bunk bed and a single bed. On the lower floor a bedroom with a double bed and another bathroom with shower and washin machine.
