The Sardinia region
Stintino is located in the north west corner of Sardinia. It is a pictoresque village of 1300 people with two small fisherman ports, born in 1885 when 45 fisherman families moved to mainland from the Asinara island. The Saline and Pelosa beaches are few km away from the village. The second one, with its bright fine sand, it blue water and the beautiful panorama of the Asinara Island, is among the finest of the whole Sardinia and Mediterranean sea. Sardinia offer 300 sunshine days per year and an average temperature that vary from 14°C to 20° C. So that you can experience an incredibly holiday from Easter to October.
Stintino / Roccaruja area
Stintino rises on the far Sardinian north-west coast, in front of Asinara, a small island where once there was one of the most important Italian penitentiary and today turned into natural park, known for its beautiful and intact nature and reachable only by boat subject to agreement of Local Port Police. The most famous beach is "La Pelosa", with its unique crystalline shallow waters and breathtaking colours.
Just few min driving from the house there are bar and restaurants, open till night. In Stintino you will be able to buy some of the delicacies of our cuisine and also wonderful objects and jewels made by our experienced artisans. The village offers you all the services useful for your holidays. The seashore is free but there is the possibility to rent beach-umbrellas and deck-chairs.

Further details indoors: Comfortable small one-room flat with double-bedroom, located on Capo Falcone promontory, in the village Roccaruja, about 60m2 surface, overviewing the beautiful Asinara sea. Casa Chiara are two twin apartament on the next door, ap.1 without washin machine and ap. 2 with washing machine. The surface is about 35 m2 and it has got a large balcony. The white seashore of Gabbiano is only 650 m far and only 800 m from Pelosa seashore, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean seashores. For people who love rocky coasts, it is possible to reach the close “Valle della Luna”, a fantastic bay, perfect for snorkeling where visitors can enjoy wonderful sunsets.
The house is perfect for 2 people, but it can comfortably give hospitality to a family with 2 children or to 4 adults. The living-room is furnished with double-davenport, cooking-area equipped with electrical household appliances, dining-table and cupboard. From the living room you can reach the terrace, that is furnished with resin-table and chairs: the perfect place to relax after a sea-day and to enjoy summer evenings. There is also a double-room with large wardrobe. The flat has got independent entrance and park spot.
