The Sardinia region
Stintino rises on the far Sardinian north-west coast, in front of Asinara, a small island where once there was one of the most important Italian penitentiary and today turned into natural park, known for its beautiful and intact nature and reachable only by boat subject to agreement of Local Port Police. The most famous beach is "La Pelosa", with its unique crystalline shallow waters and breathtaking colours.
Just few min driving from the house there are bar and restaurants, open till night. In Stintino you will be able to buy some of the delicacies of our cuisine and also wonderful objects and jewels made by our experienced artisans. The village offers you all the services useful for your holidays. The seashore is free but there is the possibility to rent beach-umbrellas and deck-chairs.
Stintino area
The village is developed inside two inlets where small harbours are situated. They are side by side, the old port called "Minori" (small) and a new port called "Mannu" (big).
Many events and entertainment are organised for tourists and residents during the summer season. Among the important annual festivals is a boat race at the end of August called "Regata della vela latina". We also recommend visiting the museum Tonnara at the new port.
The most famous beach is called "La Pelosa" but there are others, equally as nice, like "Saline", "Puzzona" and "Ezzi Mannu". "Pelosa" beach is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. Its water is so delightful; it's difficult to find another place like it in Italy.

How to get there
Getting a relaxing paradise literally on the crystalline sardinian sea is easy and cheap! Alghero airport is just 30 min driving from Stintino. Ryanair fly regurarly from Liverpool, Dublino, Londra, Nottingham, Frankfurt, Dusseldorlf, Barcellona, Pisa

Further details indoors: House on the seafront, set within an exclusive and unique villa with garden has access to the sea through a private cove. The villa is equipped with laundry and private parking available to the house guests. The house is set over the ground floor and consists of a lounge furnished with one sofa and dining table, a large kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which communicates with a further bedroom with two single beds, a luxury bathroom with mosaic finishing, two sinks and shower. The villa is full of character with particular stone faced walls typical of Stintino architecture, old terracotta floors and juniper wood beams. Particular attention was given to the choice of antique furnishings. The house comes with bed linen, bathroom towels and tableware.
