"Perfect getaway"

We spent a lovely Christmas here. It's perfect for walks to Stinchcombe Church and Stinchombe Hill.

It was a lovely touch to be welcomed not only with a bottle of bubbly and mince pies, but also Christmas decorations.

The cottage is very modern and well-equipped, and much more roomy than the pictures make it look. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I am pleased you enjoyed your Christmas and my mince pies and the bubbly. I hope you will visit again and explore lots of other walks in the area. perhaps in the summer when you can sample my homemade scones and sit on the patio, enjoying the garden in the flower. We have just redecorated the apartment and will take some new photos, I really appreciate you pointing out that the apartment is larger than it looks. Hope to see you again. Best wishes, Tracey

Cant think of a negative for this home from home gem. Will hopefully be back soon.

"A very welcoming apartment with modern fixtures and fittings and very helpful hostess."

We arrived late in the day to a very welcome complimentary hamper which contained delicious home baked scones, milk and most importantly, a chilled bottle of wine! We were delighted with the standard of accommodation and found everything exceptionally clean and comfortable, especially the bed- slept so well! Although we had planned to walk the Cotswold Way, the heavy rain prevented this but we were more than happy to spend time in the apartment enjoying the country views and watching Sky movies, which were all included in the package! Tracey was very accommodating and was on site to offer us suggestions for places to visit. A wonderful break and we look forward to returning. In fact, not sure I should be writing this-should be keeping this lovely apartment a secret!!

Thank you for your kind review of the apartment and I am delighted I was was able to provide a comfortable break for you, just a shame the weather spoilt your walking plans; but I look forward to seeing you again to walk some of the beautiful Cotswold Way.

"You will find it hard to beat this one, if you are looking for a quiet stay in a lovely country setting"

Although within the grounds of the owner's home, the apartment is independent and discreet. Very close to the M5, easy to find. The property has excellent furniture, fittings and equipment which are to a high standard. The main Woodlands site is very well presented and maintained, and is well kept. The whole site is secure within perimeter fencing and hedging. There are plenty of nearby shops, pubs and catering outlets. Within easy reach to drive are Bristol, Gloucester, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bath, Wells, Chepstow; loads of local history and tourist attractions to see; lots of walks, local and the Cotswolds way, with viewpoints overlooking the River Severn across to the Black Mountains in Wales

Thank you for your review, I am very happy that the apartment and location met with all your requirements for a peaceful and relaxing break.
