"Idyllic yet convenient setting, warm welcome and cosy cottage"
We stayed for four nights at Little Mistletoe and received a warm welcome upon arrival by Diane. The cottage is in a rural setting but was really easy to find being just 10 minutes from the M20 motorway.
The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/sitting room with ladders up to the snug which sleeps two up to age 13. There is free WiFi and the power is sourced from a wind turbine. It's peaceful and beautifully decorated and has everything you need in the kitchen. Bed linen was provided but make sure you bring towels. The cottage heats up quickly with the heating on, we were really cosy, even in February. There is a covered porch that you can sit on outside the property and a garden area with table and chairs for you to use as well as your own secure parking space.
It is a 15 minute drive to the channel tunnel if you fancy a day trip to France and about 20 minutes to Canterbury. We also visited Rye which is great for antiques, 45 min drive and Battle just over an hour away.
