About the home
The house and location are ideal for a family holiday. The local beach offers miles of sandy beaches with pools for the young at low tide and wind surfing and sand yachting for active adults. The Bagatelle amusement park (owned by Disney) is only 15 minutes drive and the area boasts many fine golf courses, the two at Le Touquet being a mere 5 minutes drive from the house.
The south facing rear garden and conservatory offer seclusion and security when required, and the small TV room with UK TV channels and in-built DVD player is an ideal retreat for the children.

The Northern France / Nord-Pas-de-Calais region

Most British tourists pass through this region at speed, on their way to the sunnier climes of the south. There is, however, much to see here. Historically, it has a lot to offer, from Agincourt, the site of the famous battle, to the Field of the Cloth of Gold, meeting place of Henry V111 and Francois 1er, through to monasteries and the First World War battlefields of the Somme. Various chateaux are to be found and there is a large bird nature reserve at Le Crotoy. Amiens boasts a famous cathedral and Lille is a city of culture, with lots to do and see for all ages. For a special day out, the beautiful city of Bruges, with its enchanting canals, is well worth a visit.
The Stella Plage area
A short car drive will find you in the delightful walled town of Montreuil, where you can take a walk along the ramparts or enjoy a meal in one of the many excellent restaurants. The chic resort of Le Touquet is 10 minutes' drive away. There you will find water chutes, golf, tennis, horse racing, horse riding and sand yachting, not to mention the shopping. Boulogne is half an hour away, with its marine centre 'Nausicaa' and colourful market. Potteries, silk painting, historical sites and a theme park are also to be found in the area.

Rene Andre feels like home. From the books to the beds, the conservatory to sit and read in or the garden for a spot of sunbathing, everything is just right. A quick 15 minute down to the beach. The local fishmongers, butchers and icecream shops are a quick walk away, safe enough to let the kids run out and get something on their own! The house is well positioned for trips to Montreuil, Le Touquet and further afield. The location is quiet and no problems with parking. This has been our fourth visit and we hope to come back soon! |

We have been to Renee Andree 4 times now which is a reflection of how highly we rate the house. We holiday in France with a party of 5 adults at least once a year and this is the best accommodation that we have found. Add to that the fact that there is so much to see and do within a reasonable distance of Stella Plage we have always had great holidays. |

This is a lovely home in a quiet road with parking and a secure garden so that you can let your children play freely. A 5 minute walk sees you at the beech although if you have lots of 'clobber' the parking at the beach here is free. There's a great supermarket a very short distance away (you drive past it on the way into Stella Plage) which made it easy when we arrived and meant we didn't need to mess around with Cite Europe (we did however detour via Franglais after leaving Calais). The beds in this house are fantastic and that makes a huge difference to a holiday. The house is very well stocked and there was nothing we wanted that hadn't been provided. We often enjoyed lunch out in the small town during the day and sat out in the garden in the evenings enjoying a bbq or local produce and wine! There is a large market twice a week which was always interesting with bargains to be had. We loved this holiday and have already booked to return next year as there is still so much of the local area we've yet to explore. |

It must be the best house we have rented over the last few years. I feel people should know what a treasure the house is and I am sure we will return.

Our son has been really upset that we didn't go to Stella-Plage this year. We had a lovely time last year, so we're desperate to book for 2009!

Your beautiful house was a real home from home set in a tranquil and well looked after area. This was our first time holidaying in France and it has given us a thirst for more.We have already recommended the house to the rest of our family.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR EFFORT TO MAKE US FEEL SO COMFORTABLE
