Sainte Maxime itself is a small harbour town on the Gulf of Saint Tropez, facing full south it enjoys 300 days of sunshine each year. The town has its own beach and marina. Stroll around the pedestrianised streets, of the old town, which are brimming with restaurants, bistros, boutiques and various open air stalls.
The chic resort of St Tropez is a short 10 mins ferry crossing away. There is a cycle track from the complex to the town.

Monaco - Famous for the Grand Prix, but also the Grand Casino, Musee Oceanographique & Jardin Exotique. Cannes - Home of the Cannes film festival, also a fabulous harbour town to explore.
Gorges du Verdon. Enjoy the beauty of the Gorge & the turquoise Lake Sainte Croix, one of Europes natural dramatic sights.
Ste Maxime area
Set between the Massif des Maures and the Gulf of Saint Tropez, Sainte Maxime has rich heritage which it celebrates with its numerous festivals throughout the year.
With its own beaches for you to relax on or for the more adventurous of you partake in one of the many watersports available, have lunch at one of the beachside restaurants or just wander the narrow streets of the old town where you will also find numerous bars, bistros and restaurants catering for all tastes, a wonderful covered market open daily and various fresh food stalls and shops are also available.
How to get there
St Maxime is within 1 hours drive from both Nice and Toulon airports. Car hire is available from the airport (Nice Terminal 2). Recommended Car Hire : Carhire3000 or Europcar
SNCF trains operate between Nice and the town of St Raphael, where the connecting bus service runs from the bus terminus directly outside the train station to St Maxime town.
