French Riviera is well known allover the world to benefit from great weather all around the year. The biggest and most popular attractions are the city of Nice and the surrounding small villages in the mountains. Monte Carlo is also very near with its jet-set lifestyle, casinos, great restaurants and lot of animations all over the year. On the West side of the Riviera is the village of Vence: very traditional style with an old tradition for parfume industry.
The Ste Maxime area
Ste Maxime is located in a special area with less inhabitants than the crowded Nice area.
It's certainly a great place for hikers, cyclers, sailers, even hunters ...
Ste Maxime is a nice village (around 8000 people) with its daily Food market, beaches, harbour, cafes., restaurants, movies.. It's big enough to have all facilities and still some to offer the best taste of Provence way of life !
The well-known and shiny St Tropez village is at the other side of the gulf. Easy to reach with the shuttle boat from the centre of Ste Maxime (just 20 minutes, ant it works until late at night)
A great choice of golf courses are around the St Tropez Gulf.

"Dear Mr & Mrs Durrieu,
another time, now even a whole month, we enjoyed the "L'Heure Bleue" fully. Most of the time I have been here, writing a new book on local history and spatial planning in the Netherlands. But some of my children and my wife joined to make my stay here even more pleasant.
January is a very quiet month in Ste Maxime. But with the blue sky at a majority of the days and the magnificient view on the bay this place is even then very attractive.
We love to come back another time !

"Indeed we had a great time! Your house is nice and comfortable. The view over the bay of St Tropez is amazing. My husband’s reaction was: wat does a person want more in his life?
We enjoyed the terraces, the pool, the table tennis table, the BBQ, all of them. With our children and my mother we played golf at the Golf of Ste Maxime and Beauvallon. My husband cycled every day. We strolled through Ste Maxime and visited St Tropez by taxi-boat. Very crowded in St Tropez.
