Home description

Charming villa in la nartelle, located at less than 100m from la nartelle's beach.This beach is one of the bigest and the nicest beach of Saint Trropez's golf, it's also one of the rare natural sandy beach.There, you could or not rent some beach mattress and eat some meals nearby the beach.

The villa is design for a maximum of 8 persons; it's entirely closed by walls and impenetrable greenery to protect her occupants and give them a better intimacy. The entrance is made by a remote-controlled portal or with a door code and you have to your disposal a carport and a car place in the front.

The villa spread over one floor with a two-storeyed part and is arround 90m², it has a due south exposure to the sun and a summer-kitchen with a cold and hot water equipped sink,and electrical hotplate.This covered space allows you an outside real cooking and above all, to have your meal outside but screened from our hot summer sun.The villa is equipped with garden furniture: chaises longue, table, armchairs,a barbecue and two sunshades.A large terrace, borded with provençal and exotic flowers and plants, surrounds the private swimming-pool (9mx4m).The pool has stairs and a gently sloping which'll allow the young child to be within their depth in the front part.

All rooms are decorated with the higly care of our interior decorator, most of the kitchen and bathroom tiles are real "Salernes en Provence"'s tiles, summer kitchen and coffe table has hand-painted decoration.

If you are to stay during winter time,heating is electrical.

The GR51 (Balcony of the Cote d'Azur) crosses the D25 highway at St Donat, 10 north of the town. The GR51 then curves around to the west, and south to Grimaud and Cogolin.
The GR9 trail starts by Port-Grimaud, 6 km southwest of Ste Maxime, and heads northwest into the Maures, crossing the GR51 and heading towards La Garde-Freinet.

The surrounding hills also have a fair number of small trails and forestry roads.

Ste Maxime area

Sainte Maxime is a Mediterranean seaside town located 5 km north of St Tropez, across the Gulf of St Tropez; 15 km southwest of Fréjus.

The town is well situated, with white sandy beaches along the coast, and the forested hills of the Maures providing protection from the winds and wonderful areas for walking and hiking.
The fires of 2003 devastated large areas of these beautiful hills, and reforestation will take many years. It was a bad year for fires, in the South of France, Italy and other European countries, Austalia and Southern California.

Sainte Maxime is a dynamic town, with a large indigenous population that's augmented every summer with visitors from around the world. The town centre and the immediate surrounding area has plenty of lodging and dining available. Shopping ranges from small Provençal markets in the centre to large modern shopping centres.

Some of the medieval aspects of Sainte Maxime have been retained. The town hall (mairie) is still visibly a 15th-c chateau, and the defensive Tour Carrée dates from the 16th century.

Boat
Boat service from Ste Maxime crosses the bay to St Tropez. From St Tropez you can get boats further southwest, including Cavalaire-sur-Mer and Le Lavandou. From Cavalaire or Le Lavandou there are boats to the Iles d'Hyeres.
From Ste Maxime you can also get a boat northeast to Cannes.

Just about every kind of sport you can imagine (excepting winter sports) is available here. The seaside provides everything from swimming and sailing to scuba diving and water skiing. The surrounding hills provide walking and hiking trails, mountain biking and horseback riding. There's a clay pigeon shooting place north of the town, and of course tennis and several golf courses

How to get there

Fly to Nice, then drive to St Raphael by motorway and searoad to the house.

You can also arrive by train to saint raphael and take the bus to a station at 100m from the house (ask the busdriver for la nartelle)

Concerning villa's interior, the living room is divided in two parts, one is a sitting room with picture windows including one openig on the terrace; the othe is a dining room with a fireplace.You'll have at your disposal a large table and a copious tablewear. The room is furnished with taste in Provençal spirit(painted and old-patined furnitures)You could also watch television (FR and SAT).The open kitchen is fully equipped: oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stove, little electricals: coffe machine, kettle, toaster etc….)Opening in the entrance hall:the" pink bedroom" for two with a double bed, a large cupboard, separated bathroom and reparated toilet.The"blue bedroom" for two with a double bed, a large cupboard, television, safe, private shower room with toilet.Last bedroom :"parrots bedroom" has an independant entrance by the terrace, between the living room and the summer kitchen. Tis room for four has four simple beds with two of them on a mezzanine, a cupboard and a chest of drawers. A real stairs takes to the mezzanine(1m80 height). This room has a private shower room with toilet and washing mashine.
