The chalet is built in true Savoyard style just 50m from the skilift/piste. It sleeps 8/10 persons and is split over 4 floors with 4 large bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom. One of the rooms gives entrance to the garden with private terraces. All bedrooms have twin beds but the single beds are designed to be able to be pushed together to make doubles. One of the bedrooms on the groundfloor has an extra sofa bed for 2 persons. The living area is open plan with a spacious modernly furnished lounge, open fire corner and fully equipped kitchen/dining area.The living has access to the large sout/west facing balcony with fantastic views overlooking the valley, the Mont Pourri mountain (3779m), Villaroger and La Rosiere.

The Rhone/Alpes is a mountain area in the south west of France characterised by glaciers, eternal snow, caves and gaps, wildly swirling water falls and fastrunning rivers and abundant flora and fauna. A mountain area to fall in love with. The Mont Blanc is the most known top, Grenoble the most important city.
Ste Foy Tarentaise area
In winter, Sainte Foy has enough skiing of its own and offers unlimited and varied off-piste skiing in a beautiful unspoilt wilderness. The slopes are usual uncrowded and there are no queues at the modern 4-seater lifts. And: a liftpass only costs half the price of that in neighbouring large ski areas, such as Tignes/Val d’Isere or Les Arcs. With your liftpass you can ski a day in one of the bigger resorts at a reduced price. For non-skiers there is dog-sledging and walking.
In summer, Sainte Foy, situated opposite the National Vanoise Park, is a great place for mountain activities, such as hiking, walking, climbing, rafting or parapente etc. Or for relaxing in or around the chalet whilst enjoying the sunshine and the breathtaking views from the balcony over the valley, on the Mont Pourri glacier (3779m), Les Arcs and La Rosiere.
Summer skiing in Tignes is also possible. Or why not go to the greens in La Rosière, Tignes or Les Arcs (18-holes).
Within easy reach of Ste Foy is Italy in summer via the Col de l'Iseran or the Col de Petit Bernard.
How to get there
Ste Foy is approx. 2.5 hours drive from either Lyon / Geneva airports, 1.5 hours from Grenoble/Chambery airports. The resort is well serviced from the UK by the Eurostar and Snowtrain, which stop at Bourg St Maurice train station. From here it is only 20 minutes by car/taxi.
