The cottage has two doubles, a twin room with additional pull out stacker bed, and a ground floor bathroom. There is also a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with woodburning stove, a snug and a conservatory. Outside is an enclosed garden with summerhouse, and a gate leads to the bridge over the small stream and onto Weavers Way, a footpath running through the village. The Cottage offers welcoming family accommodation within easy reach of the Broads, coastline, towns and villages of the area.

East Ruston is a village near the Norfolk Broads and within easy reach of the Norfolk coast, around 10 miles from the town of Wroxham. The village has a pub serving food, and the Weavers Way passes through it. The village also has open areas of common land popular with walkers.
