This luxury apartment is well located in the the Garden of Eden resort, a 5-star south facing private shoreline resort located just outside the village of St Vlas on the Black Sea coast. It is located just 20 minutes from Bourgas airport and 90 minutes from Varna airport.
The resort is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful in the country and is built in a traditional Bulgarian style with cobbled pathways and surrounded by an abundance of plants. It includes six outdoor swimming pools and an indoor pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms.
The village of St Vlas is only a 15-minute walk away. The lively resort of Sunny Beach is about 10 minutes away by car. A new marina with restaurants and shops is a short walk away.
This two bedroom apartment, located on the fourth floor, is spacious and well equipped. It gives the option of a quality self catering holiday experience alongside room service and the facilities which come with having a five star hotel on site. These include three excellent restaurants, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a mini supermarket and a well equipped business centre with 24hr reception from which an extensive range of activities can be arranged.
The local taxis, the hotel shuttle and local bus service offer easy access to the resort of Sunny Beach for those who want some lively evening entertainment or alternatively to the beautiful island of Nessebar where there are some excellent restaurants selling local fish amongst other specialities.

The Black Sea Coast region


The Black Sea Coast is an increasingly popular destination for those looking for a similar holiday experience to the resorts in the Mediterranean but with better value money. This part of the coast is on the edge of the Stara Planina mountains and the Black sea.
The area enjoys warm sea temperatures, a sunny climate and sandy beaches. As a result of its location the area has long been favoured by Bulgarians as a destination for relaxation and refreshment.
The main summer season runs from May through to October, with average daily temperatures in July and August of 27°C, and water temperatures of 24°C.
The village of St Vlas village is situated just 10 minutes by car/bus along the coast from the Sunny Beach resort and 15 minutes from the ancient town of Nessebar which can be seen across the bay from the apartment. This town is classed as a UNESCO world heritage site being one of the oldest towns in Europe. It is believed to have been founded by the Thracian tribe of Larisi in the 2nd century BC and includes museums, churches, shops, restaurants and many buildings of architectural significance.
The St Vlas / Garden of Eden Resort area
The Garden of Eden in St Vlas offers an excellent base for your holiday. It is situated in a peaceful location but only 4km outside the busy resort of Sunny Beach and the ancient town of Nessebar.
Many excursions and activities are available to guests at the Garden of Eden. You might choose an evening of Bulgarian food and wine to accompany traditional music and dancing. You might choose a trip to Varna to visit the beautiful gardens and see a dolphin show, or take one- or two-day trips to Istanbul. Boat trips are popular and for the more adventurous, there are jeep and paintball safaris. All these can be booked at the complex, or in St Vlas or Sunny Beach.
The first purpose built luxury marina in the region is next to The Garden of Eden and consists of a promenade, shops, restaurants and berthing for 200+ yachts. This further enhances the exclusivity that St Vlas already entertains. A regular ferry service operates from the Marina and runs across the bay to the old town of Nessebar.
If you want livelier entertainment, you should head to Sunny Beach which is full of bars, discos and clubs. Most of them stay open all night and many offer live music. Happy hours are a feature in many bars. The beach is long and sandy, and the water is clean and safe.
If you want to venture further afield, there are the small seaside towns of Pomorie and Ravda. The latter in particular is very pleasant, with a long sandy beach and a town street full of small shops, stalls, restaurants and bars.

The Garden of Eden is located near St Vlas, 4km away from the main holiday resort of Sunny Beach.
Bourgas is the nearest airport located 20km away (approximately 25 minutes drive) and Varna airport is around 90 minutes drive. It is possible to hire cars from both airports or arrange a taxi or hotel transfer to/from the resort.
Many UK airports have flights direct to Bourgas and / or Varna airport including Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Doncaster, East Midlands, Birmingham, Manchester, Durham Tees Valley and Newcastle.
In addition the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, is served by a number of airlines, including Bulgaria Air and British Airways and if you fancy a city stop-over and then travel to the coast, there are internal flights by Hemus Air to either Bourgas or Varna. Alternatively the transfer is 5 hours by car.
