The Black Sea Coast region
The Bulgarian Black Sea Riviera covers the entire eastern bound of Bulgaria stretching from the Romanian Black Sea Riviera in the north to European Turkey in the south, along 378 km of coastline. White and golden sandy beaches occupy approximately 130 km of the 378 km long coast. The region is an important centre of tourism during the summer season (May-October), drawing millions of foreign and local tourists alike and constituting one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.
The area's average air temperature in the summer is about 28°C, with the average water temperature at 25°C. There are more than 240 hours of sunshine in May and September and more than 300 hours in July and August.
The Balkan Mountains cross the country reaching to the edge of the Black Sea at Cape Emine, dividing the coastline into a southern and northern part. Parts of Bulgaria's northern Black Sea Coast feature rocky headlands where the sea abuts cliffs up to 70 metres in height. The southern coast is known for its wide sandy beaches.
St Vlas area
Marina View Fort Beach is a beach front location which enjoys stunning panoramic views across a beautiful bay towards Sunny Beach and the ancient town of Nessabar. Take your pick at visiting these two locations - the world heritage site of Nessabar or the more commercialised area of lively Sunny Beach with its abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.
Facilities on the complex include 9 pools,some with jacuzzis and one wave pool, a private beach, tennis court, restaurants, supermarket, internet access, fitness club and sauna,children's playgrounds.The complex is set on grounds which slope gradually down towards the sea and therefore the apartment ,although accessed from the ground floor, has lovely sea and pool views from the raised first floor balcony.
The first purpose built luxury marina in the region is nearby and consists of a promenade, shops, restaurants and berthing for 200+ yachts. This further enhances the exclusivity that St Vlas already entertains. Less than 15minutes away: Close to the apartment you will find water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, walking, cycling, horse riding, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.
How to get there
The apartment is 25 minutes from Bourgas Airport.
Use Air Bulgaria, Monarch Airlines, Thomsonfly.com, Wizzair.com or a selection of other scheduled and charter flights.
Varna airport is about 70km away.
Transfers from Bourgas Airport by minibus or coach 60lev each way for up to six adults paid locally( subject to availability) - c. £25 each way per booking .
