The Apartment is situated in a development which is part of the Dinevi resort; an area along the coastline of St Vlas which has been developed to a very high standard and includes the development of a new Marina. Etara benefits from access to facilities of numerous other complexes in the the resort, such as the health spa, gymnasium, tennis courts, car hire, bureau de change and the nine other bars and restaurants, including the Italian restaurant in the La Dolce Vita, complex with its amazing views over the bay. The complex itself benefits from the following facilities - all year round 24hr security, cable TV, shops, hairdresser, pharmacy, parking for 150 cars, health spa, piano bar, swimming pool , children’s pool, 2 Restaurants and landscaped gardens.
In addition to resort facilities, the village of St Vlas is located just a 10 minute walk from the resort and offers a wonderful insight into a traditional Bulgarian village, there are also a wealth of other bars and restaurants in the surrounding area on the route from Etara to the village centre.
The new Garden of Eden development adjacent to Etara offers a further choice of bars and restaurants as well as beach access that can be used. There are 3 beaches in walking distance to the Apartment

The Black Sea Coast region
Slanchev Bryag (or Sunny Beach) is the lively neighbour to St Vlas, it is just 4 km away which means that all of its facilities are accessible by the local mini bus or taxi’s, it's sweeping, sandy beach has the international Blue Flag status. There are 2 Aquaparks at Sunny Beach with complimentary local bus pick up service from St Vlas. Sunny Beach is the place to go for a big night out, it’s vibrant, fun and whilst it is known for it’s night clubs and bars, it is also very child friendly with a bustling promenade where families would be entertained for several hours. You can find lots of water sports available at Sunny Beach as well as paddle boats and mini golf, plus an open air cinema (check local info for schedules)
St Vlas lies within the bay of Nessebar and the views directly across from the resort are of the ancient town of Nessebar. which is a UNESCO, world heritage site. The Nessebar site is more than 3,000-years and the city's remains include the acropolis, a temple of Apollo, an agora and a wall from the Thracian fortifications. It is believed that there are the remains of over 40 churches in this small peninsular town. The original feature Bulgaria wooden and brick buildings and narrow cobbled streets make it a great place to walk around and appreciate the history that exists. It is also a great town for restaurants and once again the Bulgarians have maximised it’s tourist potential by filling the streets with little local stalls selling everything from spices to Silver
Varna offers a great day trip, approximately 90 mins away through stunning mountain scenery, local taxi’s as well as sight seeing tours will offer prices to take you and pick you up. Varna is the third biggest city in Bulgaria after Sofia (the Capital) and Plovdiv. It is positioned on the coast in the bay of Varna and offers the benefit of a long sandy beach, beautifully landscaped sea gardens, a Dolphinarium (check opening times in advance) as well as much more shopping variety than can be gained in the local resorts. Varna has a distinctly cosmopolitan feel
St Vlas / Etara area
Sveti Vlas (also known as St. Vlas) is a beautiful coastal village of approx. 3000 inhabitants, situated just 5 kilometres north of Sunny Beach and 9 kilometers from Nessebar. This magnificent resort is a great combination of beautiful seaside at the foot of the Balkan mountain range. This makes it a preferred destination for holidaymakers, who want to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain as well as the beach.
There are three beaches at St Vlas with a total length of 1.5 km- The nearest one is about 200m from the Apartment newly developed by the adjoining complex, the central beach of St Vlas is the longest one, a smaller beach to the South, the third one is near the new yacht Marina 10 minutes walk from the Apartment
There are two parts to St Vlas, the original village which offers a variety of restaurants and local shops and the sea front which has been developed into a modern beach destination during the recent years, with brand new hotels and tourist infrastructure plus trendy bars, restaurants and a Casino
The new purpose built marina is the first of its kind on the whole of the Black Sea Coast.
There is regular bus transport from St Vlas to Nessebar, Sunny Beach and Bourgas, and plenty of private mini buses and taxis. There is also water transport to Nessebar from St Vlas Marina which runs to a timetable.
There is a very cheap time tabled private minibus for all residents of the Dinevi resorts (of which Etara is one)

The apartment is great, you have obviously spent a lot of time and attention to the decor. We really enjoyed the complex, what a beautiful setting. We appreciated the DVD player and the board games.. John H (Southsea)
We had a great time the apartment was excellent with lots of room for the five of us, the beds were extremely comfortable as was the location; quiet enough to relax but a great service to get us to sunny beach. The weather was great the pools were good. I would definitely go again and would and have recommended the apartment and the place to friends. We had a great time down at the new marina where the beach is beautiful and had great meals at djannis in sunny beach and at Miami in st vlas - Paul E (Manchester)
