The Black Sea Coast region
For the last 50 years the Black Sea Coast has been popular with Western and Eastern European tourists. The climate between the months of May and September is similar to that of Southern Spain with sea temperatures around 25 degrees centigrade. The beaches along this part of the Black Sea Coast are clean and safe.
There are two international airports serving this region, Bourgas and Varna. Of the two, Bourgas is closer to St. Vlas at about a 30 minute drive.

St Vlas / Vega area
Sveti Vlas (also known as St. Vlas) is a beautiful coastal village of approx. 3000 inhabitants, situated just 5 kilometers north of Sunny Beach and 9 kilometers from Nessebar. St Vlas resort is a great combination of beautiful seaside at the foot of the Balkan mountain range. It has been developed into a modern beach destination during the recent years. This makes it a preferred destination for holidaymakers, who want to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains whilst having fun on the beach.
The historic town of Nessebar is 9km from St. Vlas and well worth a visit.
How to get there
There are charter flights direct to Bourgas and Varna from most UK airports. Please check out the following websites:-
We will be happy to arrange transfers for you from Bourgas airport (transfer time 30 minutes) or from Varna airport (transfer time 90 minutes). This will be cheaper than picking up a taxi at the airport.
Whilst a car is not necessary, you can hire one through http://www.tstravel.net , or http://www.e-sixt.co.uk , and many others locally. ( Remember your driving licence ! )
