The Black Sea Coast region
The Black Sea Coast is home to some of the best beaches in Europe.
Sunny Beach is a spectacular 8 km strech of sand that has been awarded the EU blue flag.It is by far the largest resort on the BLack Sea Coast offering many hotels interspered with restaurants,bars and shops.Buses run up and down the main strip and also out to Varna and Bourgas where you will find shops for all tastes.
Just to the west of Sunny Beach lies its quieter neighbour Nessebar.Here you will find an old town that is home to ancient monuments,quiet restaurants and fashionable cafes.
St Vlas area
Local places to visit include day trips out to Instanbul.
It is also the perfect place to learn to scuba dive or enjoy one of the many spas and balneological centres that offer relaxing and therapuetic pampering thanks to Bulgaria's famous thermal mud and mineral water springs.
