Situated a few minutes walk from a small sandy beach close to the town of Sveti Vlas, 4 miles north of the well known resort of Sunny Beach and across the bay from the ancient town of Nessebar. The apartment is on the top floor of the Watermill Complex which is part of the Dinevi resort. The nearest airport is Bourgas and transfer time to the Watermill is approximately 30 minutes (we can arrange transfers for you).
The location is ideally suited to families and couples looking for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere with the livelier resort of Sunny Beach just a short distance away.
We also know other owners who have apartments in the Watermill (both 1 and 2 bed apartments) if you want to book for more than 6 people.

The Black Sea Coast region
Bulgaria is situated in the Balkan peninsula on the western shores of the Black Sea.
The Black Sea Coast has an average temperature in the summer of 28 degrees Celsius. There are more than 240 hours of sunshine in May and September and more than 300 in July and August. A refreshing breeze comes off the sea making even the hottest days feel comfortable.
Many of Bulgaria's beaches, including Sunny Beach, have been awarded the EU Blue Flag and the waters are calm providing safe conditions for swimming.
St Vlas area
St Vlas is a coastal town situated at the foot of the Stara Planina Mountain range. The natural presence of the mountain, forest and sea together provide for a healthy and relaxed atmosphere. There are three sandy beaches all within walking distance of the apartment.
The nightlife in Sveti Vlas is centred around eating, drinking and relaxing. For a livelier nightlife the clubs and bars of Sunny Beach are a 10 minutes bus or taxi ride away.
A 5 minute stroll from the Watermill takes you to the main street to Sveti Vlas Town Square. Along the way there are numerous tavernas offering local cuisine at very reasonable prices as well as small shops and several mini markets.
The recently built Marina is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. From here you can set sail on a morning or evening cruise around the bays of the Black Sea. Full day cruises are also available. Water taxis sail every hour across the bay to the ancient town of Old Nessebar.
Catch a bus 100m from the apartment to the resort of Sunny Beach. Here you will find plenty to entertain the children and adults alike. Wander the mainly pedestrianised streets and shop in the market, commission a portrait from the local artists or simply relax in the local bars and restaurants. Sunny Beach is “exactly what is says on the tin”, 7km of fine golden sand which has been awarded an EU Blue Flag. A promenade divides the beach from the main thoroughfare so no cars drive around the beach area.
Take a taxi, bus or water taxi to the ancient town of Nessebar. Wander around the cobbled streets and admire the historical architecture of the ancient building and churches. Shop for souvenirs in the street markets or purchase local crafts from the outdoor market.
There are three water parks all within a 20 minute taxi ride of the apartment. The closest of these is at Elenite which is a 10 minute journey up the coast, the others are near Sunny Beach and Nessebar.
The cities of Bourgas and Varna are accessible via the coast road and offer good shopping facilities. In June Varna holds the International Theatre Festival and later in June and July the Varna Music Festival.
Further afield are the country’s 10 National Parks the closest of which is Strandzha Park. Other places worth a visit are Sozopol, Sofia and Veliko Turnovo (the old capital of Bulgaria). Two-day trips can also be arranged to Istanbul from Sunny Beach.
Scuba Diving, thermal and mud spas as well as horse riding, quad bikes and other sports are available in several towns on the Black Sea Coast.

Further details indoors: The hallway leads to a light and spacious open plan living room which is divided into a kitchen, lounge and dining areas. A glazed door leads onto the main balcony which overlooks the pool and sea. There are two single beds in each bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. In addition there is plenty of room for a travel cot in the living area. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and its own balcony with views over the pool. Both bedrooms have full sized wardrobes, dressing table with stools and bedside cabinets.
The ensuite and the main bathroom are both fully tiled and have a bath and shower as well as toilet and sink.
Further details outdoors: The Watermill complex is built in a traditional Bulgarian style and opened in Summer 2005. The pool and integral children's pool are at the centre of the landscaped gardens and are conveniently located infront of the restaurant which serves breakfast, drinks and snacks as well as full meals.
The restaurant is frequented by both locals and tourists and is popular with families as the children can play safely in the complex play area whilst the adults enjoy a relaxing meal and drink.
The complex is part of the Dinevi resort and as such the facilities of other complexes are available for use including swimming pools, tennis courts, internet cafe, piano bar and several restaurants.

We can accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or pay pal.
£100 non refundable deposit required at the time of booking. Balance due 8 weeks prior to departure plus a refundable breakages deposit of £95.
We will send you a reminder shortly before the balance is due and we reserve the right to cancel the booking should you fail to pay by the due date. If you wish to cancel your booking please could you give us as much notice as possible. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the departure date we can only refund the balance if we can re-let the apartment as we anticipate that genuine reasons for cancellation should be covered by your holiday insurance.
The breakages deposit will be refunded in full by cheque or bank transfer within 1 week of your return providing there are no breakages or damages.
