The Black Sea Coast region

Sunny Beach is now the most prevalent holiday resort in Bulgaria, it lies just 26 km north of Bourgas, along the Black Sea coast. The beach is the longest and widest of any Bulgarian resort and boasts magnificent fine sand and high levels of cleanliness, having recently been awarded the prestigious International Blue Flag prize. The area is quickly expanding to meet the demands of tourism and now offers over 130 restaurants, nightclubs, a casino and various water sports including surfing and water-skiing. Excellent golf courses are only a short drive away.



St Vlas area

Marina Fort View Beach resort is located along the coastal town of St. Vlas (also known as Sveti Vlas).
The Sveti Vlas (St.Vlas) village has about 3,000 inhabitants and is situated just 4 km to the north of Sunny Beach resort and 9 km away from the town of Nessebar. It lies in the skirts of the Stara Planina mountain (also called the Balkan mountain) and thus offers a beautiful combination of sea and mountain climate, considered favourable for those suffering from lung diseases. The adjacent beaches are of a total length of about 1km and average width of 16 metres. Besides the village's central beach, there is also a smaller one (the so-called 'Campinga' after the campsite there), stretching from the Sun Palace complex to the Riviera complex. The eastern end of the village's adjacent coastal line hosts the small port of local fishermen.


How to get there

Direct flights from the UK to Bourgas or Varna Airport are offered by several airlines including Excel Airways (Gatwick and Manchester), Wizz Air (Luton), Bulgaria Air (Gatwick), and Thomas Cook (Gatwick, Stansted Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow and Cardiff). Sunny Beach is just a 25 minute drive from Bourgas.and if you don’t want to hire a car, you can take a taxi or bus directly from the airport.
We can also arrange a taxi/Minivan to pick you up from the airport and transfer you on the day of departure.

Wizz Air - scheduled flights from London Luton to Bourgas airport, from 1 May 2006, flying 3 times a week (outward Monday, Wednesday & Saturday, return Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday). Prices are from £19.99 each way and so a return fare including all taxes can cost as little as £80.

Bulgaria Air - from 31st May 2006, to offer scheduled flights twice-weekly to Bourgas airport direct from London Gatwick on Wednesdays and Friday, for £175 return fare including all taxes.

VARNA AIRPORT - approximately 90 minutes from our stunning 1 bed seafront apartment.

British Airways - scheduled flights to Varna from London Gatwick on 26 March 2006. Prices including all charges are presently under £150 return.

Bulgaria Air - flies London to Varna non-stop, and also Amsterdam to Varna.
