Boutique two-bedroom traversant apartment in Port Cogolin, 3 km from St Tropez. Newly renovated in 2008 and located on the water (pieds dans l'eau) over looking the boats. Provencal style with open plan living room and kitchen leading directly onto deck.The seating furniture can be used indoors or outdoors. A parasol is provided for shade in the sun. The residence private pool includes a small paddle pool for children. Not ideally suitable for children because the deck leads directly to a drop of approximately one meter in height. The deck also leads directly to the quayside where the boats are berthed.
A twice daily boat, La Poncho, goes to St Tropez from the marina located 100 meters from the apartment. There are 3 restaurants in the marina 100 meters from the apartment.

Boat 'La Poncho' is a twice daily ferry from quay 50 meters away to St Tropez. 25 minute cycle along newly built cycle lane from Port Cogolin to St Tropez.
Make sure to visit the morning markets in Place des Lices on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Take a boat trip to see the magnificent villas between St Tropez and Parc de St Tropez.

There are 4 steps to enter the apartment building. These are the only steps that must be climbed in the residence. There is an access pathway for a car, pedestrian or wheelchair.
Regarding children, whilst we welcome children the garden leads straight onto the water without a barrier and may therefore not be suitable for small children.
A deposit of 50% of weekly rate is required to confirm a booking.
A Damages refundable deposit of €500 is required on arrival and refunded on departure subject to condition of apartment.
The balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival by Pay Pal, or by bank transfer.
The preferred payment method is Pay Pal.

Conditions
Changeover day is Saturday. Arrivals after 5pm and departures by 11am.

Port Cogolin is one of the most peaceful and beautiful marine resorts situated in the Gulf of St Tropez and is surrounded by Port Grimaud and "Marines de Cogolin".
This private residential area is located only 3 km from St Tropez, 1 km (half a mile) from Port Grimaud , 6 km (4 miles) from Ste Maxime and 35 km (20 miles) from St Raphael.
The port village is built around the yachting harbour and charms guests with its Provencal architecture, restaurants and bars.
Port Grimaud and les Marines de Cogolin are very famous and highly touristic places whereas Port Cogolin is slightly more residential with local peoples living there full time which in our opinion, makes the place friendlier. There is a real sense of community while you can still go to Port Grimaud or Les Marines by boat or by bicycle if you fancy it.

The St Tropez / Port Cogolin area
Port Cogolin is a small and very private marina. Yet it is very simple to find it because it is right in the middle of the bay next to Port Grimaud and very close to the largest roundabout "Rond Point de la Foux" of this part of France. When you come from St Tropez and are going toward Ste Maxime or Frejus you will have to go through this roundabout and the same in the opposite direction. If you come from an inland spot like Le Luc, Cogolin, La Mole or La Garde-Freinet and are going toward either Ste Maxime or St Tropez you will end up right on this roundabout. It is unmissable. And when you are there Port Cogolin is just a few hundred yards away. The map below should make it easy for you to find it.

Veer off to right and drive under the underpass to Port Cogolin.

By Air: Flights are available with Ryanair flying from Dublin to Nice, and with Aer Lingus from Cork & Dublin to Nice. Ryanair fly from London Stanstead to Toulon (50km) and also to Nice (90km) on Easyjet from most major UK airports.
