St Tropez area

The legendary St Tropez, an international tourist destination, has contributed to the fame of the French Rivera with Cannes and Monaco. The well known sleepy fishing village of Saint Tropez, with just over 6 000 locals in winter, overflows with up to 100 000 visitors per day during summer months. Whether you are part of the chic yachting set or just waiting for a glimpse of the rich and famous , the town lives up to its reputation as the ultimate in style and luxury.
This little village owes its renown firstly to the French painters who came to paint its southern light (Paul Signac, Henri Matisse, Louis Valtat, Albert Marquet, André Derain, Charles-Henri Person, Pierre Bonnard...), and secondly to the Parisian artists and intellectuals of the 1950's who were charmed (Sagan, Picasso, Prévert and many others).

But it is undoubtedly in the 60's when Brigitte Bardot came to live at La Madrague that Saint-Tropez 's reputation became worldwide. The city of the "Bailli de Suffren" still attracts many visitors in summer who come to "admire or to be admired". Celebrities, huge yachts, an animated night-life all contribute to the legend. But in the low season, Saint-Tropez becomes an authentic village by the sea with its narrow streets and warm coloured houses.
Parasols pines and Côtes de Provence vineyards give views down to pristine blue water and sandy coves, the hill villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle to the west retain their sense of exclusivity.

From London , Waterloo station to Aix en Provence .

By Car –
From Marseilles International Airport and Aix en Provence A8 highway exit 13 ( le Cannet des Maures) 38 km . Best way in July and August to avoid coastal traffic.
From Nice International Airport A8 highway exit 36 (Le Muy) 40 Km to Saint Tropez.

HELICOPTER SERVICES Air St-Tropez between Nice and Saint Tropez; costs 750€ for 5 persons.

The property is divided in three parts: the main villa and two apartments.

Main villa: Living room and dining room, TV room, equipped kitchen and an office (convertible into an en suite bedroom). On the top floor, the three bedrooms, all en suite. The master bedroom has a vast terrasse overlooking the garden and swimming pool.

Attached to the villa, there are two apartments
Apartment I: Double bedroom, a shower room, a living room with a kitchen area.
Apartment II: Double bedroom, a shower room, a living room with a kitchen area and a mezzanine with two bedrooms.

Conditions

-25% refundable breakages deposit payable upon arrival, to be refunded under satisfactory inspection minus any bills resulting from the letting period.
-25% of rental fee payable upon reservation
