This detached and well presented lodge is furnished to a very high standard. It boasts a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with integrated appliances including fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave oven. The lodge sleeps up to two adults and two children. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with two small single beds(2ft 6in wide). The lounge has a 32 inch TV with full 1080 High Definition satelite viewing. There is a DVD player and Hi-Fi.
Outside there is a lovely decked sun verandah that enjoys a sunny outlook from morning until evening with table and chairs for al-fresco dining. The lodge is fully insulated and all windows are double glazed, there is central heating and a radiator in every room. The bathroom is full size with a bath and shower over. Private off road parking is provided just outside the lodge.

"Comfortable, relaxing, peaceful and good value."
My wife, young son and I stayed here for one week in August. Actually, this is our third stay in this lodge. It is always well presented, clean and has everything we need. It is situated outside a sleepy little village but is within easy walking distance of the pub. We use the lodge as a base for daytrips. There are myriad places of interest to choose from in this part of Cornwall.

"Tranquil, but perfectly placed for everything Cornwall has to offer!"
My wife and I stayed in the lodge for a week in September. We found it to be spotlessly clean and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park itself is very quiet, but within easy walking distance of the village which has a well-stocked shop and a very pleasant pub.
Port Isaac and Padstow are quite close by and other attractions are within easy travelling distance (eg The Eden Project and Pencarrow). For just chilling out at the lodge, there is TV with plenty of Freesat stations available, and enough DVDs to cover everyone's tastes. The verandah, accessed through french windows, directly from the living area is a nice relaxing place to sit with a glass of wine after a day out, or for breakfast on a sunny morning.
As a couple, we found we had ample room, without falling over each other. The second bedroom, fitted with two single beds was used to store our suitcase, shoes, dirty washing etc. The lodge would also be ideal for a young family, but four adults might find space a little tight. Having said that, the price was good and certainly represented excellent value for money.
For anyone looking for a nice, inexpensive get-away-from-it-all holiday but with access to Cornwall's attractions, this lodge would be very hard to beat.
