A lovely stretch of coastline near St Austell where you can discover picturesque villages and quiet coves and can explore great favourites like Fowey and Mevagissey. Summerleaze is situated on a quieter side lane in the heart of St Stephen, an attractive and traditional Cornish village with 2 grocery shops, a pub (does food) Chinese Takeaway and a Fish and Chip shop. The house has an enclosed rear garden with a lawn and patio (garden furniture & barbeque)) bordered by a high fence which affords privacy and is safer for children. Electric, central heating and linen inclusive. Travel Cot & High Chair supplied. Parking in lane in front of house for 1 car (no restrictions), also parking in adjacent garage for 1 small car and parking in front of garage on driveway for 2 cars. Non-smoking. No pets.

The Cornwall region

St Stephen is a traditional old Cornish village, with village shop, pub. Nearby St Austell is home to the Eden Project.

Mevagissey is a picturesque and working fishing village about 5 miles from St Austell. The village nestles in a small valley and faces east to Mevagissey Bay. The inner and outer harbours are busy with a mixture of pleasure vessels and working fishing boats, the remains of a once major industry. However, tourism has supplanted fishing as the dominant industry in recent years.

The village consists of narrow streets with lots of places to eat and shops aimed at the tourist trade. Excellent beaches at Pentewan Sands just outside of St Austell.
