Our beautiful house is typical of the Uzes region, it is very nice, in summer and in winter! It is 4 km from Uzes , in one of the most beautiful village of Uzège, St Siffret. It can comfortably accommodate four or five people.

Our house dates from the 16th Century, and is unique in its kind. There is a cave (grotto) with its Jacuzzi, overlooking the interior courtyard. The Jacuzzi is very nice in the winter when it's cold outside, like in the summer where you can use it to refresh ,lowering to the desired temperature! We arranged our home with furnitures and antiques from all around the world. My husband Stephen, sculptor, made ??himself the beautiful stone sink in the kitchen and all the restoration of the house. There has 2 double bedrooms, one with its own private roof terrace. Each room has a private bathroom and king size beds :-)

Guests have access to the entire house, except the ground floor which is the yoga room in which I give my classes. Guests will still have the opportunity to take yoga classes for free (if there is space available). The yoga room is separated from the rest of the house , and has separeted entrance.

We will not be present in the house, but easily reachable as living in another house in Uzes .

We are in the middle of the old town of St Siffret. It's very quiet and authentic. Nearby is a very good restaurant, the Authentic.

This house is our home, with personal items that are dear to us!

We expect our guests to behave with respect.

Non smoking place.

The price includes bed linen, towels.

If you break something, please replace or ask us for the price.

Before leaving our home, we ask our guests to bring linens and towels in the pantry, and to clean the dishes + run the dishwasher and leave the house clean. If you want a cleaning lady, it will cost you 60 euros.

Our home can accommodate a baby or child over 12 years, but no young children because the house has lots of stairs + jacuzzi.

In July AND August, only weekly rentals!

A car is essential to stay here and enjoy the beautiful area...!!!

There is a little garage to park a motorcycle.

Do not hesitate to contact us, we just put our house on the website!

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

This area offers you a quieter and more untouched Provence. With a warm and welcoming climate, you will find yourself nestled amongst vineyards, olive trees, cypress trees and lavender fields. The countryside is unspoilt and the towns a treasure. Culturally the area offers the Pont du Gard (10 minutes from house), the beautiful Roman city of Nimes which offers historical interest as well as diverse shopping opportunities, and the Papal grand city of Avignon (both 30 minutes away). Avignon, Orange and Aix-en-Provence all hold prestigious music and theatre festivals throughout the summer months and there is also the wonderful city of Arles, made particularly famous by artists such as Van Gogh and Picasso.

The wild beauty and endless, unspoilt beaches of the Camargue are less than an hour away. Famous for its wild white horses and pink flamingoes, and indeed seafood, the Camargue is a land like no other. Canoeing and horse-riding can also be enjoyed in the dramatic landscape of the Ardeche gorges to the north. With the beautiful walled city of Aigues-Mortes to discover as well as being less than an hour from Provencal treasures such as Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Gordes, a holiday in this area is guaranteed not to disappoint!

Uzes is internationally famous for its absolute and gloriously preserved grandeur. Allow yourself to get lost in its streets and it will open its secrets such as its impressive Duchy, its baroque-type Cathedral and Eglise St-Etienne. The striking 'Place aux Herbes' lies in the centre of the town with its vaulted arcades, its many restaurants and its renowned Provençal market twice a week.

Festivals are held in all villages and towns throughout the summer and all types of outdoor activities are available nearby. In summer there is also the famous bull run through the streets of Uzes. Be sure to discover the Gardon gorges just 6 kilometres away which not only offer a dramatic landscape but also the option of kayaking to the Pont du Gard and beaches for swimming.

The village of St.Siffret itself is an ancient but well preserved village ...
