Further details indoors:
La Tuilerie offers charm and comfort. Four large bedrooms, decorated in fresh provencal fabrics, offer you either king size or twin configuration, your choice. For further convenience, in each bedroom, there is a private hidden sink. There is a large eating area with antique oak table and chairs and one entire wall of the kitchen is glass doors leading to your private stone terrace and walking paths. There is plenty of space in this charming house for all. The salon is well separated on the third level, the kitchen, a meeting area for all, or you can relax on your large private terrace surrounded by flowers and the forest. The four bedrooms are on separate floors (two the ground level and two on the level with the kitchen) which adds even more privacy if sharing with a group or to separate families and children. You will love this unique house. It is very popular, especially in the summer months. One comment that we often have from our guests when arriving "it is so much more beautiful than the photos!" We think that when you arrive, you will say the same!
Further details outdoors:
The grounds are magnificent. In addition to the chateau-like atmosphere of the buildings themselves (the manor house, the mill and the surrounding buildings) you will also feel as if you are on your own private estate in your individual farmhouse or mas. The Wysteria covered terraces, the palms, century old olive tree, lavendar and other flowers provide beauty and shade. The grand lawn makes not only for a stunning view but also a place where children can run and play in security without disturbing other guests.
The estate is secured by two gates, a river and a forest and you will see no roads or other industrial sites from your house.;nothing but nature. A large cliff jutting from the forest hovers over the property creating an impressive ambiance and backdrop for the estate. You will enjoy the expansive pool with plenty of space for relaxing both in the shade and sun or playing games in the cabana. The children will enjoy the two trampolines located near the pool and the badmitton court just adjacent. Taking leisurely strolls along the river, in the forest or to the village will be a pleasure each day. The Moulin is very unique. A magical place that you will never forget and want always to return.

Enquire nowThe Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
Provence, located in the South of France, is famous for the mild climate, the brilliant sunlight, its charming villages and countryside and its unique traditions. From the Moulin de la Roque, within 20 minutes to 1 hour, you will discover the magnificence of the Les Alpilles and olive groves, the hill villages of the Luberon Mountains, the Roman history of Avignon, the Pont du Gard, the collosiums of Arles, Nimes and Orange, the famous wine region of Cotes du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape, the widerness of the Carmargue, lavendar region of Sault and Le Mont Ventoux, cezanne, Aix en Provence and the Mt. St. Victoire, and the small fishing villages of Côte d'Azure. Here, there is something for everyone - shopping, festivals, tradtion, history, hiking, rock climbing, rafting or kayaking, daily markets, and fine cuisine. Come in Spring, Fall, summer or winter. Each season offers another type of beauty. The weather is usually mild and temperate. We live outside most of the year with windows and doors open!
The St Remy-de-Provence / Noves area
The area of the Les Alpilles, Saint Remy-de-Provence and it surrounding villages of Noves and others, offers charm and a beautiful rural countryside. You will see the rocky blue majestic mountains of the Les Alpilles highlighted by fields of yellow wheat, red poppies and expansive olive groves and dotted with the occasional stone farmhouses or mas. The village of St Remy is quaint, full of special boutiques for clothes, local products and delicious restaurants. Keeping the old world charm, you will love to walk through the narrow streets, enjoy the Wednesday outdoor provencal market and just take in the ambiance at an outdoor café.
Noves, a historic and quaint typical village of provence offers a different sort of ambiance as it is not touristy and still rich with the provencal French culture. A walled city from the midievil ages, you will see a quaint eglise from the 10th century, small shops and bakeries and experience the authentic slow provencal life. This area, being in the heart of Provence, offers convenience for touring as the majority of the most beautiful and famous sites are within 20 minutes to one hour driving time. This area is also perfect for biking as most of the small lanes have little traffic, weave through charming villages and are not mountainous.
Whatelse is there to do? There are the provencal markets of Isle sur la Sorgue, and other famous villages, kayaking on nearby rivers or under the Pont du Gard, horseback riding, aerial adventures, and stunning hiking trails galore. The closet large town, the walled city of Avignon offers an historic view of the Roman empire and was the home of many ancient popes, the palace still stands. Also nearby, are the Roman coliseums of Nimes, Arles and Orange, still in use today for bullfights, concerts and other events. If it is cuisine or wine you are interested in, you can visit the “Route du Vin”..the best of the Côte du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape, or the truffle market in Vaison la Romain….And if you love the seaside, you will be delighted by the little fishing village of Cassis, just 45 minutes away on the turquoise Cote d’Azure. There is something for everyone in Provence from history buffs, to gourmets, to wine connoisseurs, to shoppers, hikers, rock climbers, photographers, children and adults. There are vacations for adventure or just relaxing.
