The property has been lovingly restored with sympathetic furnishings and chandeliers having original marble floors throughout . Le Cottage is the major part of the property being self contained on the first and second floor and sleeps 4 people.
Perfect if you want a romantic break or just to get away from it all. Ideally situated for access to Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monoco and Italy in a great touring position. Cagnes sur Mer train station is also only 4 kms away with access all along the coast for a change from driving

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
The Cote d'Azur is the warmest region in France and this area benefits from being protected by the Maritime mountains giving longer Summers and warmer Winters.
The area is so diverse whether you want mountains, a dramatic coastline,sea, beautiful beaches, history, architecture, city life, shopping or many hilltop villages the choice is endless. With Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes all close by and Italy only 45 minutes away the location is ideal for touring.
France is renowned for its gastronomy and the area certainly gives a vast choice with many places for fine dining whether in historic buildings or reasonably priced restaurants and cafes close by and throughout the region.
St Paul de Vence / La Colle sur Loup area
La Colle Sur Loup is only 15 minutes from Nice airport and less than 1 hour from the ski resort of Greolieres. It is a beautiful village with cafes, restaurants, bakers, butchers,supermarkets and a Saturday market within a natural environment of pine, oak, olives and lemon trees.
There is a great tourist information office in the village with English speaking personnel. L'Abbaye is a 12th century priory now converted into a restaurant with a listed Romanesque chapel.
The River Loup is a 5 minute walk from Le Cottage where the locals go kayaking, rockclimbing or just stroll though the dappled light of the trees along the bank of the River.
Visit the world famous historic hill top village of St Paul de Vence within a 5 minute drive with its Foundation Maeght for Art, the historic Colombe D' Or Restaurant visited by many celebrities and wander its cobbled streets with many small independant shops and art galleries. Or just sit in the "Cafe de la Place" Restaurant/bar with a coffee or light lunch whilst you watch the locals playing one of the favourite pastimes of the French "Boule".
There are many villages close by Vence almost opposite St. Paul de Vence with a lovely old square and lots of winding streets and local shops, Tourrettes Sur Loup another hilltop village, Mougin a beautiful village, Biot where you can see glassblowing and many more.
If its shopping you love or perhaps something else your looking for there is no shortage of places to go with Nice where you should visit Le Cours Saleya market almost daily, Cannes famous for the film and music festivals, Antibes with its boating community and beautiful yachts and Monaco or the Grand Prix or a visit to the Casino. There is a vaste choice of small independant shops or larger stores to chose from in all these places. Or perhaps a drive to Ventimiglia just over the Italian border for something different. Or find a bargain on one of the local markets.
With easy access to the Cannes Film Festival and MIDEM International Music Festival and LIONS and the Monaco Grand Prix by train from Cagnes Sur Mer station only 10 minutes drive from the Villa.
There is something for everyone and so much to do and never enough time.
How to get there
Perfectly situated only 15 minutes from Nice Airport. Easyjet, British Airways and most major airlines fly in to Nice.
CAR HIRE - As you come out of arrivals many major car hire companies are directly in the airport.
Some guests who did not wish to drive or fly have arrived by train firstly to the main line station in Nice then onto the local station at Cagnes sur Mer. Then caught a taxi to the villa. We recommend a car to make the most of the Cote d'Azur and your stay.
Main Ferry port in Nice for large cruise liners. You can catch a boat directly to the beautiful island of Corsica booking required. Or in peak season from Antibes to St Tropez to avoid the traffic.

Further details indoors: An internal marble staircase links both floors. Romantic top floor bedroom having a Queen Size four poster antique bed with hand made mattress and its own balcony with cafe table and chairs for 2 for that early morning coffee or sundowners with views across the valley. Why not take a long relaxing bath in the adjoining bathroom's slipper bath . Another spacious bedroom with Queen Size bed and adjoining bathroom leads directly onto the terrace with views also across the valley. Double french doors lead onto the exterior terrace for alfresco dining or stay inside with dining for up to 6 people. Comfy sofas imported from John Lewis with seating for up to 6 with another set of double french doors giving views across the pool and garden. Great hand painted kitchen with a fantastic range cooker with halogen hob top with double french doors leading out to the garden.
Further details outdoors: With captivating views and the saltwater pool you will while away the hours just relaxing.
There are terraces around the villa for different aspects and a great gas range BBQ for Alfresco dining.
There are lots of areas in the grounds to just sunbathe if you want to be somewhere quiet.
The villa is within gated grounds with off road parking within the grounds for 2 vehicles.

Smoking is only permitted outside the property
A 50% reservation deposit is required at the time of booking which is non refundable. The full amount is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival plus a security/damage deposit of £750.00. No refunds within 8 weeks of arrival apart from damage deposit. The damage deposit will be dispatched within 2 weeks of vacating the villa subject to any damage.
You are strongly advised to take out fully comprehensive holiday/travel insurance with a cancellation clause.

Rent includes general cleaning, bedlinen, towels (Not beach towels) heating, airconditioning, pool maintenance, gardener and welcome lady. Arrival time between 16.00 - 18.00 and departure 10.00.
There is an additional heating charge in winter between 1st October and 28th February of £75.00 per week.
Payment is by bank transfer. For refunds of security deposit outside the UK there is a bank charge of £15.00
