Vence is a lovely and charming market town located only 15 mn from Nice international airport and 30mn from Cannes. It is a medieval city with lots of charactere and a fantastic history. it is amust to visit Vence for the historical attraction but also because it is name under" la cité des arts". The chappel that matisse decorated is just beautiful .The Chagal Mosaic in the cathedral attracts people from everywhere. And of course the cathedral in the old town is worth a visit.Therefore the town has a worlwide reputation and has become a" must "place to see on the Riviera.
St Paul de Vence / Vence area
The cultural life is very intense and the music takes a place of importance .The festival des "Nuits du sud" has now become the number 1 music festival on the Riviera . It is specialized in the promotion and the discovery of all the musics from the Southern countries such as the latino ,and the Salsa etc.. It takes place in the summer on the main square . It gives an other dimension to the town and it is fantastic.
