Guestbook for Les Bastides des Orangers
DATE OF HOLIDAY: 7 NIGHTS SAT 23 - 30 AUGUST Andrew, Nancy, Anna (8), Ethan (5), Billericay, Essex, England What a wonderful place - we were captivated. Our 5th visit to St Paul, but first stay in Les Orangers. Beautiful views from all rooms, with private, well maintained garden with lots of garden furniture and BBQ. Large dining table both inside and also outside on lovely shaded terrace. The house is extremely well equipped, very comfortable and homely with lots of nice touches - everything has been thought of and catered for (a cheese grater would have been useful for us Brits!!). All absolutely spotless. A very quiet and private location ( just what we like), but still only a relatively short walk to the village (our children's most memorable part of the holiday. Look out for fig and lemon trees on the way). We were lucky to have the pool virtually to ourselves, but at busier times 1 sunbed per household may prove slightly problematic, if you are a family! Villa owners Mr & Mrs Hartesveldt were extremely welcoming and helpful, with thorough instructions and details on all aspects. We felt very safe, secure and relaxed here, and thus would highly recommend it! Mr & Mrs Little
- 26/07/08 - 09/08/08 This was our second visit to Les Bastides des Orangers. Once again we felt completely at home as soon as we walked through the front door. Everything you could ask for has been thought of, kitchen is fully equipped, bedrooms beautiful decorated and very comfortable. The shower rooms have a very high quality finish, a pleasure to use. A home from home. If any problems or questions arose, the owner, Yvonne was more than happy to help - offering ideas for places to go, and restaurants to eat at etc. We will hopefully be returning again next year. Thank you Yvonne for another relaxing and beautifully sunny two weeks. Sarah & Gareth Davies and family.
