Home description
Lewis Tower is an ideal place for a beach break. The tower is a 'stone hut' meaning there are no mains facilities running to the tower. A public toilet is available 24 hours a day and is located 100 yards away. The fort has basic day beds (five), guests must bring their own sleeping bags etc. The fort can accommodate 20 guests during the day but due to local restrictions only 10 can stay overnight.
The fort is perfect for getting back to basics and having a beach adventure with friends and family. Situated on grassland next to the beach the fort benefits from the evening sun.

Further details indoors: The fort is on three levels with the main bed area on the first floor. A fridge and kettle are located in the basement area. A BBQ is available in the store room, and a BBQ area is in front of the fort. A steep ladder goes to the 2nd floor and roof where there are views across the bay. There is a local cafe, pub and beach cafe all within a mile of the property (some next door and opposite).
The fort offers complete quiet and is ideal for families or for groups looking to have a relaxing beach base.
