This is a modern apartment with all the facilities needed for a small family party. There is a galley kitchen on the ground floor and all other accommodation is on the first floor. There is a dining area with table and chairs above the kitchen on the first floor which opens on to the lounge where there is and a double sofa in the lounge which opens to two single beds suitable for children

This property is ideally located for the beaches, walks and golf courses on the west and north west of Jersey.

The Jersey region

The islands are well known for their truly magnificent sandy beaches, sheltered coves and crystal clear waters. The most southerly of the Channel Islands, Jersey has one of the best sunshine records in the British Isles. Warmed by the nearby Gulf Stream, summer temperatures average 20 degrees C.

Transport connections with Jersey are plentiful. There are car carrying fast ferry services from Poole and Weymouth and a traditional ferry service from Portsmouth. Sea connections to France include high-speed car ferries to St Malo. There are scheduled/charter flights from most UK airports and many European airports.

St Ouen area

Chateau Fontenelles Apartment is 1.6km from St Ouen's Bay. This is a west facing sandy beach which is one of the most popular on the island. The bay is well served with a variety of styles of beach cafes and informal dining as well as more formal venues. As the bay extends for the length of the west coast, the beach is never crowded. It is the surfing centre of the island and is also a venue for blo-karting and kite surfing - activities which are great to watch as well as great to try!
